Pre-season update....
In pool today.. see older woman with magpie tattoo on upper arm.. I say "that's a lovely tattoo". She replies "don't you just love them".

20 minute in pool discussion follows - topics include - 1970 GF scar tissue, Phil Carman, Wayne H 1979 , Anthony Rocca goal 2002 GF, succession plan, Eddie, Jack Crisp , Jamie Elliot's goal to beat Ess after siren, Jack Ginnivan, 2023 flag etc etc - I said "only a month to go" - she replied "27 sleeps"
On my way out I said "tip for you - Pies - Hawks GF, Pies by 3 points". She replied "I can't bear it"!

Hope she's there next time
