This isn't one singular player having a shocker and messing everything up, this is nobody in the team being able to execute basic skills or run for anyone else.

Managed a single behind for the quarter while Werribee kicked 5.3 unanswered, as bad a collapse as you will ever see.

Nobody putting their hand up for selection. Smith has competed. Cleary hasn’t done much wrong, but hasn’t done a lot. Busslinger has done a couple of nice things but a bunch of bad things. 1st year players are quiet. Scott started like a house on fire but has been invisible since. Gardner being Gardner. Is Croft injured? I’ve hardly seen him & he hasn’t touched the footy yet.

Well, I'd like to provide some positive comments on at least a few players but I have none. We simply do not have one player who stands out. The new recruits are getting a reality check against a very good team that applies maximum pressure. In fact, our listed players are inconsequential. Not sure what Edge can do to turn this around but we need more system, better disposal and a greater effort from all.

Is Croft injured? I’ve hardly seen him & he hasn’t touched the footy yet.

Dirty day to be a Footscray forward currently.

If we had more tall options it would be great to chuck Croft on the wing or half back to get some ball and positive movement going our way but if we move him then we may lack height up forward.

Been watching Hynes closely. Hasn’t had much of it so far but has been shafted a few times when running forward. He always seems to be able to get a disposal away when he has a player tackling him. Will be a brute when he fills out.
