McAndrew and a red dot. Balls to the wallMcAndrew R3![]()
Blakistion might only be a 5-6 week play while Bryan is out….. if he even lasts that long with Vigo in the backgroundWhen are dpp additions? Cant find it anywhere. Is it before/after rd 6?
With byes and best 18 rds 2-4 and blakiston in defence, the timing of this may be pretty relevant in relation to risk profile if running a more risky ruck line

50 or 60. He's got a decent draw after rd 1For those considering Dante, what do you see him averaging as #1 ruck at Port?
I'd put him at a 70 average maximum, realistically low to mid 60s.For those considering Dante, what do you see him averaging as #1 ruck at Port?
Yeah I agree but as far as I see if mcandrew lasted to rd 5, trading him to Bryan would be an ideal play but if Bryan wasn’t back flicking blakiston there if mcandrew was dropped would be a safety netBlakistion might only be a 5-6 week play while Bryan is out….. if he even lasts that long with Vigo in the background
Worst case hes an easy swap to Bryan I guessI'd put him at a 70 average maximum, realistically low to mid 60s.
So priced at 50 odd, not a tonne of upside.
Would Blakiston get enough RC to get ruck status? I would've though Visentini would play main ruck and Blakiston would help out when required?Yeah I agree but as far as I see if mcandrew lasted to rd 5, trading him to Bryan would be an ideal play but if Bryan wasn’t back flicking blakiston there if mcandrew was dropped would be a safety net
Visentini is 20, no ruckman is ready to be the number 1 guy at 20.Would Blakiston get enough RC to get ruck status? I would've though Visentini would play main ruck and Blakiston would help out when required?
Blaki isn't available as ruck yet thoVisentini is 20, no ruckman is ready to be the number 1 guy at 20.
Blakiston is a genuine ruckman, hes mature enough and capable enough to be a ruckman.
I know?Blaki isn't available as ruck yet tho
I thought you were talking about Port Visentini. My comprehension badI know?
He asked why Visentini wouldnt just play as the main ruckman
True. I don't have much data to go on. Both have barely played AFL. Will have to wait and see what the ruck setup is for their practice match.Visentini is 20, no ruckman is ready to be the number 1 guy at 20.
Blakiston is a genuine ruckman, and hes not a kid
It'll be interesting to see how Collingwood play as teams will need others to take a larger share of ruck contestsIf McAndrew is named r1 I’m pretty confident with starting DC and just using McAndrew as cover for R2.
DC has no threat of a second ruck and I think the rules positively impact him
We’ll have Buller/McStay to take the forward line contestsIt'll be interesting to see how Collingwood play as teams will need others to take a larger share of ruck contests
Yeah think it was more they were taking the piss previously with walking over to contests lolI haven't seen any stats as yet that suggest primary ruckman won't be able to get to the ball up contest most of the time.

Definitely sounds like blaki will be 1st and maybe only Ruck (with a fwd ruck like wright)True. I don't have much data to go on. Both have barely played AFL. Will have to wait and see what the ruck setup is for their practice match.
The benefit of Blakiston is that you can roll him straight into Bryan. The downside is not knowing if he'll generate cash fast enough or when Bryan will return, though we should have at least a couple of weeks to prepare.Blakiston def a short term play. Looks like a solid player though
