I'd put him at a 70 average maximum, realistically low to mid 60s.

So priced at 50 odd, not a tonne of upside.
Really? Averaged 71.75 in four games as sole ruck last year- 21 points upside on his price. He will have three of the easiest ruck match ups in his first four rounds too. That's enough time to cover the byes in the ruck and trade him to whoever looks good after that.

Think he’s an ok option
It’s either him at R2 mcandrew R3 or just mcandrew R2 in my preferred set up pending more clarity on roles/selection etc

Let's make them jump again....It'll stop repeated ball ups.
Never mind why we changed it originally.
Why the rucks are allowed to lead with a knee is beyond me?
The AFL rule makers are ****ing daft campaigners.
Yeah... next thing you know they will bring in some silly rule about rucks having to nominate for a contest instead of just penalising the third man up...

I would have thought leading with the knee would constitute crossing the line before the contest. The circus rolls on!

Red dot currently if i was to go that way, not sure i like CDT, don't think he will go up much in price unless i see more ruck time.
He'll only play backup ruck to Flynn. The preseason score wasn't that high, but he did sit the third quarter out.

Nothing is out of the possibility :P, If hes named R1 solo ill be very tempted haha.
Too risky. If he cops an injury, like he nearly did in the praccy, it makes it very hard to pivot to another ruck without downgrading a premo on another line.

Can't be going by "if hes injured" if you were to do that then half your players wouldn't be picked.

But i do understand if something was to happen then its hard to get out of it, but having 200-300k in the bank can help with that, but also we have the byes so you'd have until round 5 to fix him.

Totally agree. Which is why I’ve got no issue selecting Parish, even with his injury history, while others are steering clear.

But on the ruck line that 200–400k bracket is pretty thin. It’s basically up to CDT or Reidy (if he even gets a game), and neither fill me any confidence.

Yeah i totally understand the reasoning as ive never done it before, if i was to do it id have 200-300k banked 100%, just so i can go 1 up 1 down in a week, but the byes do help the case for it thats for sure.

McAndrew at R2 makes my team look super goood!

As long as R3 is DPP (actually even if it’s not using utility, just maybe limits what line can come from) it’s just a sideways from elsewhere to a ruck to correct

Not ideal but a failed midpricer to a visentini wouldn’t be season ending

And even carrying a 0 there through the byes and not needing to actually fix until rd 5 is actually possible, especially when you consider how it improved the quality of the other 21 on field

I was pretty sold on the Cameron/Jackson ruck duo until I realised they are both on the same Round 14 bye. Annoying.

Ideally my rucks are keepers so having them both on bye at the same time may not be a good option.

Jackson should be a DPP or even TPP by the time his bye arrives.
