This explains what happened to Will :(

A freak accident tripping on a set of MCG stairs will consign Sydney’s first-round draft pick Will Green to an absence of up to six weeks with a broken foot.
Good to see he's really bought into the club's culture & history.

Trying to get all the bad ones out in pre-gam so that he can turn up on GF day.

Don’t know if I agree with breaking ur foot for that theory though

You have to be f***ing kidding.

First round draft pick who quite honestly hasn’t yet shown a lot breaks foot tripping on stairs whilst a spectator.

It’s just so Sydney Swans.
May have been what Dane Rampe at the time :$

Will Green may as well speak to some lower league clubs now.
Rucks take a long time to develop. They take years just to grow into an AFL ready body and most don't debut until they're 22 or 23. Green doesn't turn 21 until September. Green is contracted until 2027 and we've got Grundy contracted until the same time.

Green is fine for now. A good second half of the VFL season should set him up for a debut next year.

Progressing pretty well in the VFL tbh, definite step up from his first year.

Don't understand the negativity about him.

I'd hate to see us give up on Green. I'm sick of seeing other clubs with ruckman we developed playing for them.
Yep you think about giving up on a ruck and then give them another year to come good

Would've got a couple of games this year
I heard yesterday that we don't want to use 2 rucks
