Geelong top 4, but to stumble and choke in yet another big final, unless they’re lucky enough to come up against an even bigger big finals choker than themselves….
Like the overrated hokball.
Weird obsession Hawthorn people have with us.

Some of us don't have to present arse for high draft pucks like a prized baboon while bottoming out though I guess.

Are you ok?

Perfectly fine.

Roddy is an arrogant knob. Loves dishing it out but sends PMs when give some back.
lol. I’ve sent one PM on BF in the last ten years. And it sure AF wasn’t to you.

Oh, and btw, I’ve seen more Hawk flags in my lifetime than the cats have won in their entire VFL/AFL history……..

They get 15 games out of Day and they're nailed on for top 4.
Maybe, Day is awesome

Day is a great player but Hawks injury list wasn’t horrible.

Still think they should be top 5 but their injury list was a positive overall.

Final Finist and following years ladder position* (end of the season, don't included finals)
2024 Brisbane beats Swans by 60 - Lions 1st and Swans 10th
2023 Collingwood beats Lions by 6 - Lions 1st and Collingwood 9th
2022 Cats beats Swans by 81 - Cats 12th and Swans 8th
2021 Demons beats Dogs by 74 - Demons 2nd and Dogs 8th
2020 Tigers beats Cats by 31 - Tigers 12th and Cats 3rd

It seems one of the grand final lists will drop dramatically, my guess is that Geelong will be 8th and Lions 1st.

It wasnt disastrous but we had dear miss the entire pre season and a major part of the first half of the season. We had weddle miss most of the second half of the season on top of Day. We had injuries in the midfield to worpel and mackenzie and suspension of nash. We were complete under dogs missing a good chunk of senior players against dogs.

Dear and Weddle both missed big chunks of games with stress fractures.
Day obviously missed a large part of the season, Worpel missed 8 games with injury and Lewis returned from an ACL midway through the season and was slow to get back into form.

Injuries are part of the game, but I think Hawks had there issues with them.

Other teams had just the same amount or more injuries.

But you seem to be making out like Hawthorn weren’t really affected by injury, when they were.

According to CD the top 6 for least impacted by injury ….was Gold Coast, Adelaide, North, Melbourne, Port and Brisbane.

It still stings, doesn’t it. REAL bad.

😂😂😂😂😂
I rest my case. Arrogance.

Why do Hawthorn people do this like others actually give a shit? I've seen my side win flags. Couldn't give a toss you've seen yours win some as well. It's not that big a flex to those that have also had success.

Almost as funny as your string of posts in last years thread.

No it's not. that so called "hakball" crap whatever it is won't hold up in 2025. reality check for the hawks in 2025. bookmark it.

Just from watching footy over the past 35 years... seeing young teams overachieve in a year, come out the next thinking its just going to happen for them.. especially this Hawthorn group.. full of cocky arrogance and i just think (my opinion) that 2025 wont be as good as 2024 for Hawthorn. THATS ALL....

The number of arrogant Hawks fans that have climbed out of their holes since May last year is unreal. they automatically think they're going to be dominant in 2025 LOL!

Bookmark this: Hawthorn will not be a threat.. they won't go deep in September and they will struggle to make the 8.

Keep telling yourself that. At some point, you may start believing it…
Hopefully we get our new finals bunnies Hawthorn again and make it 3 in a row.

Being bitch slapped by Brisbane in finals is just something all the recently good teams have to go through. Maybe the Hawks will get up to that level in 2026.

1. Lions: Don't remember us ever being minor premiers, but I'll go with the flow here
2. Fremantle: Great list. It has to come together eventually doesn't it?
3. Suns: Yazz, the only way is up
4. Hawks?
5. Sydoney
6. Crom: Finals results this year shows they're a bottom top eight side.
7. Geelong: Something something something Dangerfield, something something something Cameron....
8. GWS: Might miss finals, might win it all, who knows...
9. Bulldongs: Superstars everywhere. Still zero backline.
10. Collingwood: Unless Elliott kicks 100 goals you're not making finals.
11. St Kilda: Won't make finals. Only because of f/s rules & Academies. No fault of their own........
12. Norf: Again, surely this year they improve.....
13. Richmond: A moderate step forward.
14. Carlton: Hmm, no idea. I don't see how they get better.
15: Port: Same as above.
16: West Coast: Can't get worse.
17: Melbourne: They can definitely get worse
18: Essendon: Your captain wanted out, Ridley wanted out, doesn't bode well 'team spirit' wise...

1. Brisbane: Their list still looks strong and even though they are starting to age a bit, they’re still not as old as the Geelong premiership team from 2022
2. Adelaide: Think they’ll learn a lot of lessons from those finals losses, I think they’ll improve a little from last year but will have a tougher draw.
3. Hawthorn: Even though they didn’t land Merrett they have a young exciting list and should be good enough for top 4.
4. Sydney: There always seems to be a team that gets top four from outside the 8 the last year and Sydney is my tip to bounce back after an average 2025.
5. Western Bulldogs: Make or break for Luke Beveridge next year, just need to start beating top 8 sides.
6. Fremantle: Great list, good enough to be top four, but tipping that they’ll just miss out.
7. St Kilda: Another team I’m tipping to be big improvers. Will depend on if the new recruits can gel well under Ross Lyon.
8. Geelong: Good enough to make the 8, but I think they’ll suffer from the grand final thrashing hangover.
9. GWS: Premiership window fading.
10. Gold Coast: Big improvers this year. Will cop a harder draw next year. Premiership window still a couple of years away.
11. Collingwood: Really unsure what Collingwood will turn up next year. Weak forward line and an aging list says they should drop down, but they are well coached and they always play better than their list.
12. North Melbourne: Surely they improve a little more, midfield looks very decent.
13. Carlton: Losing Curnow will hurt, but on paper they look a better team than 13th.
14. Richmond: Good young list, should win a few more games than last year.
15. Port Adelaide: Rebuild time! Some superstars in the team but lack depth in their list
16. Melbourne: Also rebuild time! Lost a couple of their better players in the trade period so time to blood some young players.
17. West Coast: Surely can’t be worse than last year. At least most of their players want to stay.
18. Essendon: In no man’s land at the moment. Most players want to leave. Tipping Scott to get sacked before the end of the season.
