Did someone ask him to play Summer of 69?Must be a common theme in my life. I was at that RA gig too...
First time in my life I was actually given a refund by the promoter/venue. Apparently his artist payment was withheld due to OHS breaches in the artist contract for his behaviour towards venue staff.
Yes they did, but the rot had set in well and truly by then.Did someone ask him to play Summer of 69?
How ironic. Ignore function is available to you as well.Cripps is a poor captain. Always has been...
Can't kick a clutch goal to save himself
His skills are quite poor
Can't rally the troops
Tries to do everything himself...does not trust team mates
Rarely takes first option
Thinks he owns the CBAs
His interviews are just waffle and platitudes and his (and the team's actions) on the field bear no resemblance to what comes out of his mouth pre-game
If that triggers people, press IGNORE and move on

Body language.Ah, classic. Yes - it's just a media witch hunt.
Let's ignore:
- His bizarre body language pre-game & warm up
This is the only thing quantifiable.
- His failure to register a single stat for 3.5 quarters
Body language, not Elijah's but his teammates.
- His teammates ignoring him at every turn - both in terms of interacting & giving him the ball
Body language.
- His clear confusion out on the field
Body language again.
- His behavior that clearly demonstrated he was not fit to be out there
Care to take a guess at the amount of people, in society, on the football field, or on this website with a history of substance abuse, CS?
- The fact he's had a history with substance abuse
And this is where Tom Morris got you: he led you to the poison, and you're drinking it whole.
- The fact his body language is pretty much a text-book example of someone on some type of substance - particularly the footage from the bench at the end of the game (and Tom Morris' propaganda video).
Yeah, I ain't the one gaslighting you. Morris has already done it, got it covered.'Yes, curse Tom Morris and the 2 minute video footage, and curse all you Carlton fans for buying into this witch hunt, you should all have a good, hard look at yourselves!'
Whatever Elijah is going through is his own battle - and I wish him well - but this club needs to explain itself to the league, fans & their own players (who also have a role in this).
So quit trying to gaslight us into thinking we're falling for propaganda, and that this is just a non-story.
'I disagree' does not equal rubbish. Someone really should've taught you the difference, but I suppose it is still school holidays; there's time for you to understand.Agree Re Harry. The rest of what you wrote is absolute rubbish.
So you must be one of those body language savants I mentioned before. Tell me, did you use the technique where someone rubs their eyes at the wrong time to prove their dishonesty? There was 80k at the game last night, most of us with 2 working eyes.
We don't need Tom Morris to tell us what we witnessed.
Think Matt Carroll was a positive on another disappointing night
Think the kid has something
He absolutely is. Ran to the bench at one point practically dragging his bad leg.I reckon he's playing injured
Body language.
This is the only thing quantifiable.
Body language, not Elijah's but his teammates.
Body language.
Body language again.
Care to take a guess at the amount of people, in society, on the football field, or on this website with a history of substance abuse, CS?
You willing to judge all of them, too?
And this is where Tom Morris got you: he led you to the poison, and you're drinking it whole.
Yeah, I ain't the one gaslighting you. Morris has already done it, got it covered.
If you want to play the fool further, don't let me hold you back. Headbutting walls is the slowest way to learn, but pain is sometimes a teacher none the less.

What does the lifeline on my palm dictate about my love life, Bell Ringer? Do you know what's in my tea leaves?
Care to cast my horoscope? How is your grasp of phrenology; can you tell what Elijah's predilection to crime is from measurements to his skull?
Seriously. Body Language is bunk science under the best circumstances, and you were at best 10+ metres away from him. Go tell what you know to those who are gullible enough to listen. Or - better yet - don't.
Revoke his liquor licenceFor now with Lij.. whatever Voss or the club is saying is damage control and should be taken with a grain of salt. Surprised AFLPA hasn’t stepped in yet and slammed Morris and media.
Lewis Young is comfortably in the top 5 worst footballers I've seen in the Navy Blue in the ~35 years I've been watching.
It's laughable he is still on our list, let alone being gifted snr games.
Is it just me, or does anyone else see leadership qualities in Carroll.Others are calling it out but Matty Carroll is taking the next steps. Good to see.
Some other positives for the night.
Williams and Newman back to their best.
Hayward responded somewhat to a shocking game last week.
Dean will play 200+.

not for me, time to break the cycle. Give it to Florent or someone else we trade for this year for 12-24 months.Everyone calling for Voss' head but after last night, Cripps can stand down too. I read Walsh was seen firing up at Elijah. Give him the captaincy. At least he hates losing and might fire a ticket up the players.
FMD, you're coming across as someone who can't understand something unless it's spelled out in a text book or peer-reviewed study for them.
His behavior was highly erratic, the club has asked the media to treat it with severe sensitivity, Voss admitted they had to manage him throughout the week, every movement from him out on the field points to a guy who's either on the gear or heavily coming off it. Yet you're trying to say it's a non-story, whilst the rest of the football world are in disbelief.
TBH if I'm GW I'm shopping Weitering, Walsh and Cripps around at the end of the year. And from what we know of GW previously this is something that has reasonable probability to transpire. The more I think about hollands, the worse our reality is. Reeks of lack of leadership and unprofessionalism. What a rotten club.
The lack of care for a player.
The lack of responsibility by anyone on field or off it, to let it continue.
The lack of accountability post match by Voss.
The lack of decency by our leadership players to get him off.
The lack of foresight by the medical staff to let him keep playing, and not take him to the rooms and get him sorted off camera.
The lack of professionalism by hollands to turn up like it. Drugs, anxiety, panic attack. Whatever it was. If he wasn't right he should have said something. That's why we have emergency players.
He has no sympathy from me, but our club also failed him last night and that's disgraceful.
We are a weak, broken club to allow any of it.
Everyone calling for Voss' head but after last night, Cripps can stand down too. I read Walsh was seen firing up at Elijah. Give him the captaincy. At least he hates losing and might fire a ticket up the players.
Maybe if we had a gameplan where we actually run a bit more, create space and get separation from our opponents, we may lessen the chances of concussionIs that 5 of our players that have suffered concussions this year already.
He missed a shot after the siren and now suddenly he "had" some potential? And Jagga clearly being managed but still had some massive moments especially in that third. Stood out.Feel for Byrne, poor kid. Reckon he had some potential, hell of a way to get Carlton'd in your 4th game. Looks like we've already done the job on Jagga, doesn't take us long does it![]()
This was not a minor knock. Fist to the side of the H's head while running at full pace from a player running at full pace .Issue is they don’t seem to be coming from big knocks either. Very concerning
AgreeCowan could play mid and be a tough tag but unfortunately our coaching panel doesn't have that type of imagination or foresight. Pathetic.
What do you mean by 'elitism' ? Do you think it's some sort of class issue ?
