Round 1 is over and done with. Our starting teams have done their thing (for better or worse) and now we see how they back up their performances from round 1 in round 2. Now we get into the crux of the Fantasy season, Trading, which is what defines our year. It separates the men from the boys of Fantasy coaches and will determine if you have what it takes to make it all the way to number 1 at the end of round 24. It's still early season and we only get 2 trades a week for now (until we get 3 in the mid-season byes) so we will have to keep relying on our chosen starting lineup for at least the next few weeks to score for us.
Will your team do better this week? (I hope so for the sake of my mental health)
The first week of the early byes are here, so if you are like me and don't have Nick Daicos you can relax. He won't be getting 35 disposals and kicking 3 goals this week as he has the bye.
For others who have Nick Daicos, his older brother or any other premiums on their bye this week, do you have the cover to make sure you don't lose too many points this week? Will that little rookie that scored a 40 last week step up to the plate and score a nice 80 for us?
My rookie making sure I don't lose too many points this week:
We already have some injury carnage early this season with Gulden and Heeney both out for tomorrow nights game. Just one of many twists and turns Fantasy will have in store for us this season. Stay strong Fantasy coaches and keep keeping on...
