Yep pick 50. Crows rated him highly, mentioned his light frame and said he should fill out and referenced that he did play quite well against VFL opposition.
He looked promising at times this year early and last year as a 17 year old, so there's some scope there for him to develop further. Wait and see who we add this year as a key forward.

Sure. They could have taken Ludo if they were keen on him, but obviously they weren't.
Whitlock, Dawson and Thredgold have played either end, so could be an options short term if required.
Goad may get a run next year as well or Brayden or Duurs (if he stays) if we went smaller.
They may like taking one mature tall if we get an MSD pick or a couple in this years ND if we lose Darling and CCJ.

Jaidyn packed his entire positive contribution to the NMFC into one game in Perth.

Yeah don't get me wrong, it's horrdendous. We have a few candidates who might get there this season in: Stephens, Logue, Fisher and CCj. But that would require some serious dollops of luck and wishful thinking.

There's no reason to ignore free agents in that time timeframe.

Free agents are valid players but traded in players are guys we spent draft collateral on so get their own treatment.
