Got our 2026 first (5-8ish before academy/FS picks), GC’s first (10-15) and our 2027 first rounder (will get blown out by Tassie concessions). Hopefully he has a promising but not elite but clearly about to explode but not certain enough type season so we can get him at a decent price But clearly worth a top 5 pick + more atm

Also he was born on 9/11 2004 which is value in itself

Good, I don't want to lose him if we're genuinely playing a more offensive brand. I know there are some question marks on him defensively, but he is our most natural scorer. Also plays his best footy next to a passable KPF combo, which I'm hoping Mihocek/JVR can be.

They'll have a full year to put together a trade package now though.

I don’t see what they could offer that would interest Gold Coast when they wouldn’t budge last year for a better deal.

I suppose if the Hawks need an extra 12 months to force someone out in order to get the picks.

At any rate they traded their own second, third, and fourth rounders out and received the Saints second rounder, Swans third rounder and our fourth rounder back in various deals, so they might have improved their positions there a little bit. Will still need to come up with at least one top 5 pick to get Humphreys out of GC though, on top of their own first roound pick probably in the teens this year and v compromised post-Tassie first rounder next year.

A strong first up performance for Prasad. He spent much of the game high up the ground, getting involved in linking the play with his typical energy, flair and slick ball use. He made the most of the opportunities that presented themselves inside 50, slotting a couple of majors including one brilliant, dribbled goal from the boundary.
