Pretty well done by Lamb and Taylor, replacements for the 3 that can't play, but will still have the option of the list spots end of year if we want.

Vaguely you remember being in the M Reid camp?

Smillie huge bust, in fact other than Lalor and maybe Trainor that whole draft is looking grim for Richmond.

Probably for the best I don’t support Richmond as there would be some daily melts if I did.

I don't think I ever hated on Watson tbf just wanted him to fail because of the nickname. Think when the Hawks were so keen on taking a small forward that high maybe it was a bit of a memo that he's probably pretty good

No idea about you specifically, but I do remember most of the board (myself included) handwringing about the prospect of trading up for him and celebrating when the Hawks picked him. Think the consensus was basically that he looked like a flaky small forward who didn't do anything particularly special.

I probably was against it too but if he was just called Nick Watson and not the wizard he wouldn't have looked as bad.

I think given all the factors his value is being based quite a bit on forecasted return. 21 years old, has shown an exceptional level of talent at times and would likely be moved into a role where there's a logjam at his current club.

King has coached him and seen him day to day, so if anyone is going to be able to make an educated guess on all that it would be him, so I'd back him in.
