I mean if Parish is could practically be given away…would we look at him?

Play him as purely a distributor to Nick and our other mids.

(only asking the question, I don’t love it because Essendon would be pricks as always)
No idea where I land on Parish. He’s having his best season in a few years, particularly his disposal by foot, which seems to have taken the place of that elite clearance play from 21-23. I’d prefer Neale, but he’s playing well and is somehow still just 28 years old

Amarty and Mitch Lewis. Yay or nay. Amarty is a bit flukey but I see the ‘power’ sides all having dual, or more, options up forward whilst we try and craft one decent players and a Buller or the like into the side. Big Dan, Amarty and Lewis as a different mix up forward appeals greatly to me.

Read into this what you will given the source, but Edmund hasn't included us here as one of the three clubs courting Humphrey. He's listed Dees, Hawks and Blues.

That’s because he still has 3 years to go on his contract and the cost is far too expensive in terms of capital for us right now

He won’t be on the market for a while yet so it’s not worth wasting any time on it
Suns won’t let him go before the contract is up

With how GC have started I reckon they’ll be very keen on retaining him. They need talent
They're dripping with talent. I'm beginning to think that a lot of Hardwick's success was the product of his assistant coaches. Fair bit of talk that Leppa was the main architect of the game plan that swept all before the Tigers.

They are, but I do query the balance of their talent. A lot of guys on that team are super attacking, and they don’t seem to strike a balance there in their midfield especially.

Leppa always impressed me when he had a match day role with us, so wouldn’t surprise me if he had a big role there too.

I think he was lucky that he had the best player in finals history also.
