Lets see if our mids can do what the dogs did...

Our centre clearance work has been totally diabolical this season. If it is again, we are shot.
Last week was the first time our inside mids started to look better.
In saying that, without Swallow, along with NDS & Wells... Our mids will struggle big time against Freo's big bodied guns.

Id have Ballantyne at North Melbourne in a heartbeat and he'd be in our best ten players currently. Can't be a good small forward without being antagonistic.

On topic a reasonable game by the runaway 2015 Syd Barker medalist against quality opposition. Needs to keep impacting general play with regularity though.

Todd has pure class, and is a genuine gun in his position. He added the hardness and consistency this season which really makes him a complete player now.

Question has to be asked why so few have taken the next step on our list.

Elite. Has been for some time, this year he's gone even better. Contested marking is insane now. Best ruckman in the comp period.

Goldstein should just realise by now that the midfield is not doing him any favours so he should ️just mckernan it out of the ruck and deliver the ball himself.

Makes you wonder at the state of our midfield when there is such a dominant force around the ground in Goldstein.
