You get more recognition as the bloke who peels off the third forward and takes intercept marks.

Taz goes toe to toe with the best opposition KPF each and every week and is rarely beaten.

You can see why that’s not worthy of recognition...

Last year he got beaten in a 1:1 marking contest for the first time in Round 18. Sixteen games straight without a forward taking a mark against him in a genuine contest. Kind of incredible really.

And add to that, he had a midfield that got flogged at stoppages. He was exposed every week to potential carnage.

Owned the defence & Coleman Medalist that hard that Cameron played decoy after half time.
Thought he was playing decoy from the opening quarter Snakey

Dunno what you clowns are on about. He played one bad game last year and Healy declared he wasn't up to it.
Unlike half a dozen generic Cats defenders, who are all superstars apparently.

AA selection criteria in a nutshell.

Takes one of their favourites playing well for a game to have them in.

Takes ones of our playing poorly for one game to be rendered unpickable.

Belted Cameron last year too.

It's a strange thing to say about a Coleman medalist, but Cameron really is a bit of a bin scab. Is great when the side is on top and he has space to work in, but when he has to properly work for his touches then he tends to drop right off. Which is what I love about Brown - whether it's his day or not, his work rate never drops.

Taz must be a nightmare to play on as he never gives an inch and then punishes you the other way too.

100% Agree about Cameron.

If he wasn't in a class side that runs over the top of the opposition (generally) then he'd struggle to kick 40+ goals a year. Pads his stats with bags against s**t opposition.
