You absolute madman. What a legend.
I can neither confirm nor deny thisThe old ‘plausible deniability’.
It shouldn’t be made public yetI can understand people's frustrations, but like Sphynx, I'm not sure what the AFL has done wrong (in this case).
A complaint has been lodged under an AFL policy (which is endorsed by both the AFLPA and individual player's themselves, via their contracts), and those matters have been put in confidence (as they should be) to the individual for a response.
the fact nobody on the outside knows what's going on (incl Ralph) is a sign that the process is working properly, not the reverse
You know that's the case do you?
If a ex-partner of one of my employees comes to me and tells me they are threatening them, physically abusing them etc.
I would take it seriously, yes.

And if that was thoroughly investigated and there was no case to answer, and said partner rocked up again six months later?
Also good to know you have absolutely no regard for the privacy of your employees.
Lachie Hunter, crashed his car into a parked car, fled the scene, blew more than double the BAC limit, while also in breaching Covid lockdown orders.Jordan DeGoey sexually assaulted someone, and he’s still playing. He also has a laundry list of bad behaviour going back a number of years.
Clayton Oliver is an absolute menace off field with his behaviour.
Bailey Smith was captured racking lines of coke but it’s all good because of mental health.
TT said some nasty things in a text message and he’s looking at being cut loose?
It’s not logical.
If he was texting vulgarities to his ex just before he crashed, then he'd be in deep shit.Lachie Hunter, crashed his car into a parked car, fled the scene, blew more than double the BAC limit, while also in breaching Covid lockdown orders.
Western Bulldogs president Peter Gordon told SEN radio the alleged incidents are a result of Hunter not appropriately dealing with the pressure of life under coronavirus restrictions..... yeah that'd be a bit of an understatement. That is a very bad look for the AFL while everyone else is in lockdown. Yet he's running around alongside Oliver and Joel Smith at the Melbourne Football Club who according to their captain and coach believe they have a very strong club culture.

Its pretty clear he is an immature dick (or worse) who can't make not even one solid decision to improve his life or himself.Maybe it’s time TT found himself a new manager.…..
Completely irrelevant.
If an employee of most major companies acts like a complete campaigner, weather public or private and is reported, they would be investigated in exactly the same way.
Now lets just wait and see what he's done.
The fact he's been told to go away and complete behavioral courses to clean up his act by his employer multiple times in the last 12 months seems to be completely lost on everyone in here when reported for more bad behavior.
It's proper risk management by the AFL. If he comes out and bashes his next girlfriend or makes geniune threats to harm someone, it's not going to go down well with the general public, their sponsors etc is it?
At some point, he might simply be cut lose for bad behavior and deemed to much of a risk to the AFL and the clubs commercial interests. We aren't there yet, but I imagine we would be close.
This might be the straw that breaks the camels back for North and Tarryn though, if he does remain in the AFL.
It shouldn’t be made public yet
Investigate it sure but should have been BAU for Thomas and not out in the public
There would be heaps of complaints made that don’t go public during investigations
Well like you said it would be the afl or the complainant which is what is annoyingWe don't know who leaked it, that's the clincher.
The complainant has motive, not sure the AFL does. Not that people at the AFL have needed a good motive to do or say dumb s**t, and AFL house in particular leaks like a sieve. All the same though, we simply don't know. Just like we don't know what the specifics of the allegations are, and just like we don't know if this thing we don't know is even true.
I get people that we all ******* loathe the situation and it's easy to lash out at the numpties at AFL house, TT's ex, other posters, and even TT himself... But s**t just gets silly in here at times.
If the ex partner of one your employees comes to you whinging about their break up you suddenly stand them down and "investigate" lol?
They're a publicity driven business where external perception is huge. Its a bit different to a business that isn't going to be a headline on the news based on how they handle this.If the ex partner of one your employees comes to you whinging about their break up you suddenly stand them down and "investigate" lol?
The fact that the club have allegedly stood him down might suggest that any accusations may have at least some basis in reality, no? To what extent and severity is yet to be determined since we don't have any of the facts but that doesn't stop people in here going immediately to the "woman bad muh freedom of speech" whinge.
For what it's worth my own first impression is that it's probably on the less severe side hence the dilly dallying about, but I won't be jumping the gun with proclamations of injustice until I know more info.
It's quite frustrating how the process is drawn out however.
Whatever you do, do not check hotel licences.Might have to do some targeted property searches in the greater Geelong area.
If North let him go he’ll be playing for another club in a heartbeat.
So IF a punishment is to be handed down I’d rather it come from the AFL. He either plays for us or no one at all.
Just happens that the two are normally closely related.None of which was proven against De Goey in court.
Just as none of the more serious charges against Tarryn were proven.
The stench of domestic and family violence is a hell of a lot more serious than personal recreational drug use.
Or North asked hime whats going on and he's responded with a "no f...... idea, but after the last shit show I'm sure as hell not going in there without my lawyers and manager".The part of that story that blows my mind is the "Roos in the dark as to the nature and severity of the allegations"
Sooo is TT not allowed to tell us ?
Did we not ask ?
Does he not want too ?
Manager advised him not too ?
How can that be possible ??
Club has asked him to stay away from a complaint made via an online form and the club doesn't even know what that complaint is.
s**t show.
The clubs reaction is simply to manage the publics perception. Guilty or not guilty the club can't be seen to actively supporting somone accused of voilence. If it was a recreational drug use issue the public expect a club to wrap their arms around them and help get them back on track. The fact that the club have allegedly stood him down might suggest that any accusations may have at least some basis in reality, no? To what extent and severity is yet to be determined since we don't have any of the facts but that doesn't stop people in here going immediately to the "woman bad muh freedom of speech" whinge.
