Oliver’s driving licence was suspended after he had a seizure. He has to be medically cleared before resuming driving. Oliver was caught driving on suspended licence. This action did threaten his and others safety. A medical episode whilst driving could be shocking.

Driving with suspended licence the most serious claim to ever stick to TT too.

And he doesn't have a medical condition.

Albeit I suspect the right psychological evaluation would reveal a whole range of shit related to trauma.

Yep, I don’t think that people really understand how much of a disadvantage having well connected family is. Apparently you need to work twice as hard as anyone else to be taken seriously and get the recognition and opportunities you deserve.

Now we have further allegations and absolutely nobody outside of the party making them, the AFL and TT's people know what has been alleged.

People are going with this narrative like TT is Jake "The Muss".

I don't know what Tarryn has been accused of this time around and I don't know whether the allegations are in any way true. What I do know is that last year, VicPol and the Prosecutor struggled to make charges stick because the things that he actually did, while unacceptable, did not reasonably fit within the definition of crimes according to the statutes. VicPol tried to make triangles fit within circles and that's why charges were eventually withdrawn or dismissed.

We had Trent Dumont on ARMED ROB charges at the club for well over a season ffs.

But everyone (correctly) accepted Trent's claim it was all a big misunderstanding that woukd be cleared up.

They give you six or seven on the bottom for proper armed robbery.

Tarryn's currently "accused" of sending texts to an ex.

I've had a gun pointed in my face, and blokes threaten to kill my girlfriend during an actual armed rob in Dublin.

People are welcome to send me any text they wish if they think it'll be as traumatic as that was.

Wonder why we all gave Froggy Dumont the benefit of the doubt though.

Maybe you're right.
But...
The media scrutiny is 10x higher now.

We are a much better run club now.

Maybe the club looked at the evidence in both cases and acted accordingly.
Trent was accused of a shit act, but calling it armed robbery is a bit of a stretch. He was found not guilty so I guess the club got it right?

I'm sure if Trent showed a repeated pattern of this behaviour and his professional standards dropped, he would have been stood down as well.

FWIW I'm not in the sack Taz camp unless he is found guilty of a serious offence but there is plenty of evidence that he has behaved poorly previously.
If someone repeatedly behaves like a prick, people are quick to believe that it's possible they have been a prick again.

The allegations are extremely well publicized.

The allegation were thoroughly investigated by VicPol and nothing could made to stick, and the cops went out of their way (jeez wonder why) to try and get stuff on him.

The allegations hold no weight now and anyone still giving them some countenance in their own need to question why they are so keen to do that.

Young white male who attended Melbourne Grammar works in industry where his peers have been known to lose jobs for displaying unconscious bias on grounds of identity a la Tom Morris.

This young white male's powerful likely somewhat domineering father has a proven track record of unconscious bias on indigenous matters.

It is fair to assume that what his Dad said at press conferences was the standard at dinner table discussion growing up.

And he was charged with a very serious offence where journos actually had to respect the sub judice provisions.

If you imperil an Armed Robbery trial at the County Court, you WILL be dragged before the court and asked why you shouldn't face contempt charges.

Tarryn's never actually been charged with any crimes against the person, so the journos get to have a field day.

Pretty sure from what i can see on the ol google, froggy was also charged with aggrevated burglary, not armed robbery. It may be splitting hairs but accuracy is important.
