Still got NFI what he did the first time? Not threaten to distribute an intimate image, but more using a carriage service to harass? Of which wasn't convicted of anyway and asked/forced to pay $1000 to charity?

If what you’re suggesting is true then we really should consider getting rid of him now.Just saying what I am hearing. I am told TT result will not be good for TT (significant suspension). Should be something official shortly. Like many on here I am not quite sure how the AFL become judge and executioner but I suppose their one size fits all is bringing the game into disrepute. Just saying what I am hearing. I suspect delay is all about checking their legals before they announce.
I hope no dyslexics on here have been offended given the subject matter at hand.Hard no.
It's not "a bit of fun" to threaten to spread sexual content of another person, regardless of the consent that content was created with. It's against the law. Against the law to do it, against the law to threaten to do it.
It's not "a bit of fun" to send sexually explicit pictures of yourself to anyone without their consent either. It's against the law as well.
They are both forms of sexual harassment, the former being a form of domestic violence becuase threats are used to control.

Because this will be another year of bad press, coach & others pressed with questions about TT. Also….if he’s leaving at the end of the season like most people believe he is….by playing him in the 2nd half of the year all we are doing is setting him up for whichever club wants him. That club (regardless of his on field form) won’t hand over a 1st round pick for him….no way.
So we’re gonna keep him around for a 2nd/3rd round selection? We’ve banked heavily the last couple years in the draft and we’ll get another high calibre draftee at the end of the year. We don’t need whatever compensation a club is willing to give us for him.
Rip the bandaid off and be done with it.

As opposed to Daniel Kerr who was repeatedly caught on and off the field the same time?Yeah but he'd been flaunting his bad s**t in public for years
That GR post kinda reminds me of this video back in 2018....
Collingwood & richmond pay off the women so they don't complain. Was De Gooey or Martin ever suspended or hauled under the coals by the integrity unit like this?
They wouldn't do it to a Collingwood. Corrupt game.
Lol who sent u?If what you’re suggesting is true then we really should consider getting rid of him now.

I've lost count the amount of alias accounts that have responded to me in this thread.Lol who sent u?
No, I see a lengthy suspension as more incentive for him to leave at the end of the year. Or for opposition clubs to gain more leverage to steal him. We wont offer him a big contract if this happens.I see no issue with a lengthy suspension, probably a good outcome tbh.
That’s not how it works.
If you send a derogatory text to a woman then you will find yourself in trouble.
If you send a derogatory text to a male no one will care unless it’s a minority or something progressive.
Time served would be lengthy at this point.Let's define lengthy.
Hard to see anything more than three games on the top.
And the AFL does like a suspension imposed on players who wouldn't have got a game anyway
The thing I don't like about this isI think it's fair to suggest that derogatory or at least bitter and angry messages have probably been sent back and forth between both sides (and with multiple women) but where Tarryn has stepped over the line is that some of these women have felt threatened or violated by the messages he has responded with. Again, not necessarily to a criminal level, but not cool on Tarryn's part. He needs to learn to walk away and not be provoked into a regrettable response.

You could leverage that by saying North get treated by the AFL the way Balckfellas get treated by Australian society and invoke that "us against the world" vibe too.if it is a lengthy suspension he'd probably be thinking to himself "would this happen to me if I played at a bigger club"
And rightfully so because we're all thinking it. Sadly, it could be a reason as to why he leaves next year. So end result is North get the raw deal again.

How about you don’t abuse women? The thing I don't like about this isyou aremost assume the complainants genuinely felt violated or threatened to an extent where Tarryn must be punished for it. Just because of the political climate we find ourselves in we automatically believe it to be the case. Otherwise you just get shot down for victim blaming. Who cares about facts, right?
It's 2024, how about blocking his ******* phone number?. If it is worse than that then get a restraining order. If it's DV go to the police or ring 1800RESPECT. That's what would happen if it was any other ordinary a-hole. But no, Tarryn is a public figure, there is another course of action... an AFL integrity unit with zero integrity and a bias to cover their own arses and perpetuate the AFL's image of political correctness.
Huh?if it is a lengthy suspension he'd probably be thinking to himself "would this happen to me if I played at a bigger club"

Could well be. And as a fan, I always hope those sorts of things matter most for players (or the type of loyalty Larkey showed) but I get the feeling that money will be the biggest factor on this occasion. The real deciding factor will be if we start winning games and are clearly on the rise and footy is fun
