This is what happens when underdeveloped kids get ‘game time’.
The look on his face when he was walking off, poor bugger. Heal well young man.

Was no way ready to play.
Thats what you get when you blind kick over your shoulder and not ******* look for your target. Dumb

He had a handball option to a player with no prior opportunity over the top. Easy lock up ball and a reset. Instead went for a blind looping snap kick off balance and under pressure. Dumb

Earned his spot through happen-stances. Nonetheless he earned his spot today.

Stiff it ended the way it did, he's got a tiny taste and he'll want it even more now.

BFNAAK.

Gross negligence picking him in an AFL game. Nowhere near ready.
Then again Trust in Nobles.
I'd like to hear from all those posters who continue with their ...the club will know the right time to bring in young players ...they are with them day in day out....they will make the right call.....

We all saw Bergman in pre season and while he looked a likely type he was clearly 2-3 years away from senior football in a physical sense - didn't take any type of PE training - or any training of any sort - to understand that.

Nekminnet - let's play him in the seniors - all 70's kilo's ringing wet.

FFS at what point does the FD become accountable for this shite?

They'll just hide behind the administration

Could easily happen in the VFL also.

Agree he wasn’t ready but had been playing well enough to be an emergency for a few weeks so in some way deserved a chance also.

Its not the size of the dog… its the fact he didn’t loop a handball to a player to lock the ball down. Hope he recovers, he showed good form in the scoobs. Just think our players, across the board need to be advised whilst in defence to play %’s unless you have a direct out

It was pretty much the perfect storm. Young skinny kid who hadn’t yet adjusted to the speed of the game who got caught in a vulnerable position.

If it was going to happen it was going to happen early. I’m sure if he had adjusted to the pace of the game, he probably isn’t in that position.

Playing Bergman just about sums up the club right now. Completely inept playing a kid obviously not physically ready for AFL. How long in time and much in development will this cost Miller through no fault of his own?

Was Patrick Walker injured? It’s my only understanding as to why he wouldn’t have been inline before Bergman?

How come no one was saying he’s to skinny to play before the game.
There’s a few skinny guys out there playing afl with no issue - sometimes you just get hit wrong
He wasn’t picked. He was the late in and they made Atu sub.

It was clear as day he was out of his depth when he was out on the wing leading for a pass and his direct opponent not only spoiled it with ease but could have taken a few collarbones as well.
The boundary umpires had him covered for size.

When will North learn that we aren’t Sydney and our kids don’t come from an academy where they have years spent in the gym training with elite athletes to make them more equipped for footy at this level. Come on.
