I know where you are coming from on this. If we were struggling for list spots, Josh could be in trouble. But we aren't. There are a heap of players we can delist first who don't have Josh or Brayden's potential.

Josh has at least shown he can perform at the level. Has George even lit up a VFL game to prove he belongs at the level? Or are we still relying on pre draft hype

Still relying on the hype. Oh well, it's something, if not much. I'd still rather take a chance on him than offer someone like Teakle or Bergman another year.

I talking about retaining players with upside rather than plodders.

I wasn't talking about list balance, obviously I agree that we will need a back-up ruckman next year. Though I disagree that Teakle is one, he is clueless. We may as well ruck Bailey Scott. Hopefully Goad is sufficiently advanced next year, though I think a mature state league type would be a good idea too.

He’s basically missed two seasons with the Achilles + the additional soft injuries as he’s ramped up loads. Not sure if it’s bad luck or mismanagement but it’s a bloody long time.

saw him sprint to to a loose ball when Tomlinson ****ed up the kick and was heartening to see. That is his main weapon. Just get through unscathed the rest of the year and it’s massive.
