He's on his way. He's gotten better with every week I think, save for the most recent game on the weekend, which I think very few were at their best in.

Clearly he's more of a slow-burn than we were sold and I think if he didn't come with all this "he's senior ready, he'll play round one, he's basically Finn Callaghan" hype when we drafted him, I think we'd all be pretty happy with his year so far.

I don't recall anyone related to the club selling the idea that Kyle was anything but a late starter with the frame, athleticism and progress in the time focusing on Aussie Rules, that was exciting.

The bits you've mentioned about readiness, early debuts, Callaghan comparisons was all media, outside analyst and fan hype.

Haven't been surprised one bit. Wasn't a big fan of the matching based on promise, but needs to be given a few years.

Looking forward to seeing how he gets on. He is raw and has a lot of development to go - but seeing how far he has come already, the coaches obviously think he can be one of those guys that will take the step up in their stride. Looking forward to seeing him rip in!

I could see him more on the wing in this game, with Serong going back to fill the void left by Mills (if true that Mills is expected to miss.)

On a side note, what are the odds of COR one day being a senior coach? The way he speaks is just so motivational (see clips of him talking to the AFLW squad). I'd literally run through a brick wall for him!
