Our young guys have been cursed beyond belief with serious injuries. Ryan Burton at Hawthorn seems to be going ok though. What # pick did Haw use to get him? Can't remember.

When I had one knee done, apparently I grabbed the dial up phone and rang my work for a chat about anything and everything, swearing like a trooper. I remember nada.

I really like D-Dub (as I call him). He reminds me of the Flying Ghost - Bruce Doull.
Rang the club today and was advised by the medicos that D-Dub should be cherry ripe by round 1 next season.

Hopefully he can get back mid year and make an impact at VFL level. From what I seen at VFL level last year he has a lot to work on, but some of the raw ingredients are there.

Felt like a bit of a reach for an undersized KPD/3rd tall -but- he does play like Scott and if he can turn out a similar career you'd happily pay a 30something pick for him. Just as we did for Scott (thanks Moran).

Upped his training considerably over the last few weeks. Lots of straight line running ect now.

Might see him on the field later on in the year the way he is progressing.
