That’d be nice. He isn’t going to get many looks at it in the Port SANFL side as they are pretty atrocious.

Had his first game yesty, had 9 disposals, 1 goal and 2 marks.

Not bashing Comben as I think when played in a role that suits him he is a very good player in that role. It’s fair to say his 1on1 defending isn’t quite there yet.
But I believe if he was a more solid defender we’d be playing Whitlock in the side. There a lot of class there.

I think RHJ gets another week but if there was to be a change made, I’d consider Whitlock to come in. He ran a 3.05s 20m so can go with most hff. Wouldn’t have to defend a key tall. Which would move Tucker to the wing which I’m personally ok with.

Also have the option to keep Tucker at HB and use Whitlock on the wing. I’m of the opinion that we shouldn’t rush any player before they are ready. But when you’re playing the best in the 2s and there a chance to expose a young player to AFL games based on great form and merit, I think you take it

I have no doubt in my mind we will be trading our second round picks to a club who needs points and they will be sending us a juicy first round pick. We are playing 5D chess.

Potentially, but other teams may offer their F1 and R2/R3 as points, so we may have to beat that offer.
Two R2's might get one of GC's teens R1's (10 or 16) or GWS pick 14.
A lot of flexibility to bring forward our F1 and our R2 for a R1 (and F2?), then shift the Tigers R2 for future points (F/S).
But also a chance we trade the R2's for players, so a lot of things up in the air with trade week.

Was Harry asked about his own form? I would like to know what's going on.

I know he's split with his girlfriend late last season or thereabouts. Wonder if the lifestyle change associated with that may have something to do with it. You wouldn't have thought so, given how professional he is

May be able to slot into the Archer role (played by Tucker at the minute) but when Archer is back next week, it won't be required. Wouldn't have thought we can play Corr, Comben, Logue/Pink, Archer and Whitlock in the same backline

In his junior career he didn’t just play key back. Many varied roles, even outside mid. Tall wingman who could take a mark. Quarterback ball user. We threw him around

I've said before, I understand the last five years but sometimes some guys / gals just can't help themselves and unleash with full force, nothing wrong with unleashing but be practical about it and do it in the right way and young kids are off the table, end of story. On Sunday, Finn, Harry, Colby and Tommy all made a few mistakes, that is not only normal but good, it will stand them in good stead for the future, this week against Sydney they will probably make a few more, love it or hate it, its part of the process that has to take place to get us to where we are going.
