Outside of the top 4 or 5, it'd be pretty even most years. Dear, Morris and Freijah recent draft steals.If anything, Trembath, and even more so Curtis, Xerri and Larkey, are showing that pick numbers are overrated.
You may have more of a shot at an elite talent in the top 5, but I reckon with the pretty even talent pool and the drafts becoming more compromised, it'll be more about which players you get than the numbers.
And with long rebuilds likely not being all that popular going forward, I think teams will have to split picks and/or trade in futures into a draft they really like and draft quite deep.
