glad we could agree Mrs payne

I’ve never mentioned Payne or even watched him all too closely.

Konstanty’s tackling is great but he’s offering nothing else. The pressure won’t always pay off.

If you think any talk of dropping him is delusional then you are just a kool aid drinker

I'm not a kool aid drinker, I'm a Dinker.
And there's plenty we've seen come and go over the journey that plenty on here have backed in. He's got a high ceiling and will improve and will find life easier the better we get.

One you need not worry about.

If you're a kool aid drinker then you've either been brainwashed by a cult leader that's lost the plot into killing yourself or tripping hard with another cult leader (of sorts) who wrote One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

This guy get's half a chance every second week and nails it in between slamming blokes in tackles. This type of pressure at the man and goals is what we have been missing for years. I reckon we could do with another like him.

He’s played 13 games only. Application is first rate, the rest will cone
Could. Not will. Most players don’t make it.

His effort is great. Yet to be anywhere near convinced he has the skills or attributes beyond that to be successful at AFL level. He had 9 touches and didn’t kick a goal today. While I certainly wouldn’t drop him because we have nothing else and he has a great attitude, lets not pretend he’s dominating or that he’ll definitely make it. Long way to go.

Don't forget the only reasons he's not at Sydney is John Longmire who disliked him. Wasn't cut due to lack of ability .
When you take out the skipper in a grand final year it probably doesn't help your annual review too much.

Did you watch the game or just read the stats? He had a big impact.

And we also have some good performers in the VFL who could take his spot if he wasn't performing.

kid is going to be one of the best steak knife sets in recent history.

You can point to stats, or you can just note how many times in recent weeks he’s been buzzing around half back manically chasing campaigners.

That’s a full buy in to 18 man defense from a 13 game small forward. That’s why he is ahead of others in that spot. I’d love cooper to make it but does anyone think Cooper will be trying to mow people down at half back?

Him and wardlaw are the opposite of downhill skiers. Uphill skiers.

I think if it was up to the players to choose the team - I suspect he'd be one of the first picked each week such is his impact during key moments. He does drift in games - it must be between the ears.

Konstanty was probably sent a teary video explaining all he did wrong.

One win and we are back to overrating everyone.

We did this post Melbourne game too.
I've rated him exactly the same for 2 months. Putting in a shift every game and filling a required role.

If he can lift a touch more in the odd game and have what he's delivering as a base we will be pretty happy. He's going pretty well for a player of less than a seasons worth of games being expected to play a mature, team first position.

where did it come from that he doesn’t have skill? top draft pick for a reason and couldn’t get in the team because sydney have some of the best small forwards in the comp, every time he’s in a 1v1 contest he wins it or at least half’s it and when he has the ball he usually does really nice things. think once he grows in confidence he will be averaging 15 and 2.
