His defensive pressure is elite. His skills are woeful. I'm not sure that works.

Best case scenario is that he is pushed out by someone with some composure. Then he can be in the twos as backup.

We cannot have someone like that butchering chance after chance. He is still young but I don’t know if that side of the game will suddenly click for him..

No we wouldn’t. Only hopelessly deluded fans convinced that ‘next year it’s all going to click’ would think that. His skills are woeful, so when he’s only getting it 10 x a game to be serviceable he needs good to elite skills. He doesn’t have that.

Swans did it with Wicks this year, as he was equally frustrating in the small forward role and was inconsistent. I would worry about his disposal coming out of the 50 and being a ball butcher
