Jeff Kennett's obligatory outlandish statement? Essendon should merge North Melbourne. They are bordering on being homeless and their position in the AFL as a stand alone club is untenable.

Who will surprise in the Hawks team? - Hoping that Savage, Tuck, Bailey, Shiels and Smith do.

Who will disappoint? - Hoping no-one does but I think maybe Ozzie will probably drop off and eventually lose his spot in our best 22.

Jeff Kennett's obligatory outlandish statement? - I think it will be something along the lines of the Gold Coast Suns as I think they'll hit the ground running next year and the fact that they'll potentially be an instant finals team, this will really irk some clubs who are continuing to struggle. I also anticipate a war of words between Kennett and various clubs i.e. Essenscum and Norf.
