Most clubs wont even deal with Port as they have a terrible reputation as far as trading goes.

What an absolute fabricated pile of bullshit that statement is. Over the years weve had 11 players ask to be traded home/for more chances, only 1 hasnt found a home - Nick Stevens. Weve consistently paid good prices to get players that we want - Hardwick, Motlop, Pickett for example.

So what is this based on? Us wanting one pick higher for Damon White? Big deal.

Taylor was involved in the Schultz deal as this town is only big enough for one superstar. Walker reluctantly made way knowing it was a battle he could never win.

Have to feel sorry for Tex finally got rid of big bad Damon White and then along comes Shultz

he said it was a disgruntled rookie listed player weeman which the club has since looked after when they found out about our interest. I hope we dont trade griffin to port either why help out one of their problem areas for a 2nd round pick?
Been thinking about possible Rookie listed players that it could be.
I'd say Michael Wundke would fit that criteria.

Speculation & Innuendo become fact on BF ;)

Interesting comment from John Reid on 5AA just before. Cornes and Rowe asked him if the Crows would have any activity at all in trade week. He said that if anyone was interested and put a good deal forward to Griffin he might go (though he anticipated it wouldn't happen) but that other than that the only other thing we were looking at was "a little tiny deal" that involved a player that "if I said his name you wouldn't even have heard of him". He said that they were sitting around and watching what happened and would see if things fell their way.

Who could it be? Some young rookie no doubt, but any thoughts?
Well I guess Tim Walsh is still at Hawthorn.Interesting to see what happens next year....

Almost certain to be upgraded to Hawthorn's main list despite injuring himself in his last match.

Quite a promising talent, and a major reason why Hawthorn's ruck stocks are not as poor as some have suggested.
