2 years ago we had only gone out in straight sets once and were right in it again. You couldn’t sack him in 2023. You absolutely can now.

I should have realised! I maintain 2023 was the year we should have gone all the way. Maynard……
realistically I think Adams has shown a bit recently and could be a decent key back. Turner depending on what we do in upcoming drafts could also be a back. Won’t surprise me if he’s eventually moved back.

We should have taken a KPP on O Sullivan or Curtin who went right after him…much bigger need based on our list demographic.
Windsor in no mans land at the moment, he isn’t a rebounding defender like a Saad or a Rioli nor is he a lockdown defender.
Second year player. Has shown plenty. Love his speed and that he can take the game on. No issues with the pick.

Yeah, I more meant if it was a choice out of extending him or sacking him it should have been the later
Turner was drafted as a intercept defender if I recall correct.
I would not be against giving him a go at levers post... to see how he goes in company of May and Petty.
Play lever forward if need be, to block for JvR, or shield Jefferson form being double teamed.

We have/had bigger needs than tall forwards, at that point last draft.
We still have Jeffo and Adams in the oven as it were.
Our biggest issue is we kill our own tall forwards with our game style... and have done so since we had Weideman.
We kick along the boundary to cause continual stoppages. not to advantage our forwards.
This is now come around to haunt us.
He also has to learn to be responsible for an opponent. And to fit a team defence.
Hes not a lazy player... like Fritsch, thankfully.
Windsor and Lindsay will be the start of our resurrection. Together with McVee Pickett and Langford.
Lets get tLamb working on getting us back into the top 10 of this draft.
