Thanks mate, could always use an extra hand when trying to keep Devo's insane predictions in check. Could always use more people around on the basketball boards too. Who you support NBA and NBL wise?

Welcome to the exclusive 6,000 club Jod.

How does it feel?

Yes quite exclusive considering you and I are the only ones in it :D Still feels good, just a pity that i will eventually overhaul you on the Top 10 posters section. Your name deserves top spot. Whatever happened to your efforts with Bluey to switch the post count over?

I don't think Bluey is bothering with that anymore. So, I've lucked out unfortunately. But never fear. Just add 7277 to the post count and there you have it!

I'm planning a big celebration when Dan26 reaches 2723 :p

Who do you go for Jod?

I am Tigers in the NBL and TrailBlazers in the NBA.

The mighty Wildcats of course in the NBL and im a Bulls man in the NBA. Im a half Wizards man also, only go for them because my favourite player of all time plays for them now. Once he retires again i will once again have all my interests on the Bulls.

Pity we dont see you round the Basketball board, if your knowledge of Bball is even half of your AFL knowledge then you would be an asset..(im always trying to recruit ppl to the ballers board...only really about 10 regs) :)

I used to watch the NBA all the time. These days I still keep track of it, but not to the extent I used to. My brother is a huge basketball fan. He goes for the Spurs and idolises David Robinson.

Now that both NBL and NBA seasons are in full swing, I'll post there more often. Looks like it is a pretty interesting season. Lakers still for mine though. What has happened to Miami? 6-23!! WTF? Pat Riley has a big challenge there - probably the biggest of his coaching career!

Bulls in NBA Titans in NBL even though I don't follow the NBL too closely.

Remember 92 Dan ;) :D

I remember the Trailblazers 15 points up at three-quarter time of game 6 in Chicago, and the Bulls going rampant WITHOUT JORDAN during the first half of the last term, before the great man was subbed back in

Not a good memory if you are a Blazers fan. We should have won that game, but I don't think we would have won game 7.

Ahh good to see. Riley has never missed the playoffs in his 19 years head coaching career so this season certainly will be his biggest challenge. You dont mind if i throw a mini quiz at you do you Dan...see where your at NBA wise?

Who is the coach of the Chicago Bulls?
Who does Grant Hill play for?
Who is the reigning MVP?
Who has the best and worst record in the league so far this season?

And dont chack NBA.com either :D

I remember that game. The Blazers threw it away leading by 15 with MJ on the bench....then they just fell apart. Then Mike came back on and the rest is history. Doubtful that they would have won game 7 anyways..

Of the Bulls 6 championships, the one that they "almost" lost in my opinion was 1993 agaisnt Phoenix. The Suns bounced back magnificently after dropping the first two at home, and went into game six trailing 3-2.

From memory, Chicago had a miraculous 3-point shooting percentage in that game-6. They just hit three-pointer after three-pointer. Including the winner of course with a second to go.

If they didn't fall over the line in that game, it would have been very tough for them to win a game-7 on the road, in my opinion. Most games sevens go to the home team.

Nice work Dan. Tim Floyd was the Bulls coach but got sacked...well he resigned last week and now Bill Cartwright is in the hot seat. Yep thats right the same Bill Cartwright who led Chicago to its first 3 titles as the enforcer in the middle :D

Makes you wonder how good the Bulls would have been if they had a top-notch centre in those days. They still went 67-15 in 92 anyway!
