Spoke to him on Saturday, said he was hopeful for selection and that his body felt the best he had in years. He wasn't in PR mode either for what that's worth.
Did he give much away without putting the bloke in ?
Would love to know why Saad left or what they thought of Whoosha or Truck now ?.

Martin Gleeson
“Marty was solid again. He positions himself very well and sets up the ground. His experience is fantastic for our young group.”

... sounds like an AFL wage to be a playing-coach in the VFL...

Is he really a monty to be delisted though?

Provided he still wants it and his body is in good nick he’s the perfect back up small/medium to cover 4 or 5 different blokes IMO.

Even when he isn't being used that way?

I can see them, if he's fit, giving him games as the sub late in the year so he can get there, assuming he plays 3 of the next 6 or something.

Calf complaint, test for this weekend but more li back playing next weekend

Sean Murphy video transcription re: Marty Gleeson said:
"Gleeso" had a little bit of a calf complaint the last week. The bye came at a good time from a VFL perspective, we didn't have to push it for this week or last weekend.

This week he'll still be a test, we still have to go through that process this week and it'll be more unlikely this week but we'll get him up for the following week.

Yep. Disappeared a month ago without a trace and now... "last week" 🤣
Do they really think we're this stupid?

Do they really think we're this stupid?
They think no one pays attention to anything beyond the AFL team every week, half of the players aren't included in the injury report and those that are in the interview aren't always in the write up either, so you have to listen to the video and transcribe it. So a lot of people really don't have a clue. If they're not in the AFL that week people assume they're ready and waiting in the wings and have tantrums over why isn't *insert injured player* in the team! Why is *whipping boy* named?!!

Part of the reason I started tracking it was because the selections didn't make any damned sense unless you knew who was available, and they don't make it easy.
