It still looks pretty bad, but when you consider that the Eagles won the first 9 derbies, it starts looking a lot better. Since 1999 the ledger is:

10-9 in the Eagles favour.

Since 2006 the ledger looks even better:

4-1

I like the look of that. In another decade, we might have pegged back the overall margin altogether.

But we won the tough buy count 1-0 today. When Palmer got his hed wound, he ran off and let time play on but when sooky la la lynch got his head wound play had to stop, freo (who were on a run at the time) had to be brought back, and time stopped, play stopped. Only to let the 'gloved one' walk off the ground in shame. Way to bleed for the club Rhys (cheers for the ticket to the Kangas game BTW) Nighfury and Kev might be mad about this but I reckon Plamer is rivalling the Brockmeister at this stage in toughness.....maybe not but damn he's good cheers Carlton, Richmond, West Coast, Essendon, Bulldogs
