Cue the "heard it all before" "it's all talk - show it on the field" etc.

I read into that, the tail no longer wags the dog

Blokes like Rivers will have a contract put in front of them that they accept or reject

We have to become brutal as a football club to succeed

I know we've heard it all before - but what we haven't seen or heard is the club actually doing what it says it's going to do. Look, last year we started with the acquisition of Mitch, so far we've snagged Byrnes and with a variety of REAL QUALITY coming through the draft plus JV and the F/A, I think we're in for an exciting 2013 and onwards.

Alot of opposition supporters and the media have bashed the living hell out of us this year, and some of it has been warranted, but some has been just stupid. Without going through it all again, I will pick out one thing. The fact that it seems opposition supporters, Opposition Players, Opposition coaches and the media all can't wrap their heads around the fact that we are not the MFC of 2008-2011, we are a New MFC.

We have coaches, recruiters and a board that are all willing for the club to be ruthless. Even our playing style during the year was different. You could see that games didn't work out as much in our favour as they probably should've due to Neeldy and Co. pushing the point that they want the players to play a certain game - not whatever the hell the player wants to do at the time. You could see the players that were on the outs with Neeldy, they were dropped, they dropped their heads, they had a sook, and they didn't play their role - now they are being shown the door.

So I guess what I'm getting to is that even though we've heard it all before - this time it seems that it's more than words (wicked song - nuno is great!), we're seeing the changes, we're seeing the club being ruthless and not just throwing away potential.

We're seeing the beginning of our club rising back to where we should be as the founders of this game - to #1.

We're.......extreme.....NOT THE BAND, NOT THE BAND

A good post though.

I'm sure when Mitch heard from his manager we'd made an offer and wanted to meet with him, he probably thought "don't want to play for that rabble"

But after meeting the coaching staff and hearing the plan, that all changed (and fk off anyone to say it was all $$ driven)

We are a completely different club from the Bailey years (and before)

That's why it shts me when people still say "Please don't draft any more skinny kids"

Neeld's in charge now. What were his words? "I'd choose Grunt any time"

hehehe Rex - I have one of his picks from a pantera gig from years ago.

Back OT - The only thing I have to say about the skinny kids - would be cool if we could develop the ones we have before we pick up anymore - however - I'm not in the coaching staff - so my opinion on this matter means Sweet fa.
