From what I can gather, it is similar situation to Simon Prestigiacomo.

The correct pronounciation in Italian is not how the two players pronounce the name themselves.

Leigh pronounces it exactly as StKildonan has written.

Camporeale is similar, on TFS he was asked how to say his name, he then said it the correct Italian way "cam-po-e-ar-lee" rather than the Aussie way "Camp-po-ra-lee", but then later in the same interview pronounced it the Aussie way himself!
Prestigiacomo should be pronouced with the "giac" as "jack" rather than gi-a-como or gi-a-perry-como. But it's his name, we should pronounce it as he wants us to, not how italian vocab rules say we should!

Thanks,Yur Serene Highness .I agree. My family's surname is anglicised and has been for at least 2 generations. But if we pronounced it according to the rules of dutch grammar,it would sound like we are saying something different from the way it's spelt. The "G"is spat out and sounds like a "k"to Anglo-Saxon ears.So i understand your point. But ,i suppose i was asking is "How do his parents say the name"?.
