AA predictions?

Stokes has 18.9 disposals per game, 6.2 marks per game, 33 goals, 2.5 tackles per game, 17 goal assists, but is well behind on 54 inside 50s. Still I think he miht be in the mix.

Probably, although statistically there is not a lot between them. Stokes slightly ahead on goals and assists, Didak ahead in other areas. Probably for pure arseiness Didak would get up ahead of Stokes though.

As good as we have been, probably even better than last year, i think the AA committee will probably lean towards delibrately not picking as many Cats this year, even though if there good enough then they should be in, i just think they'll go for a more even spread from all teams.

My selections are:

DEFINATES : Ablett, Bartel, Scarlett and Selwood

POSSIBLES : Enright, Corey, Ling and Milburn

I think the possibles will be the unlucky ones that should be in there but will miss out for the reason i gave above. Just on Joel Selwood, i think he is an absolute certainty, and should be one of the first on-ballers/centre line players picked. He's an absolute gun and deserves every award and accolade that comes his way. His stats this year are amazing even for a 6-8 year player let alone a 2nd year player.

funny thing is Mike Sheehan said on "On The Couch" last monday that given our dominance this year and the fact that this year we have been better than last year, we probably deserve more AA players than we had last year. He said 10 - 12 should be considered for the best team in the comp.

does anyone think the selectors might try not to be too geelong concious and we might end up with less than expected.

we all know who certainties are Gaz, Jim Scarlo and Corey...Enright would be stiff not to get a gong.
