It would be so much easier if he was out for 6 weeks or the season but it has to be that grey area where he could be back in 2 or even 4!! Very very annoying.

Raines - 4 weeks first estimate, now just gone 5 out (because of form)
Ottens - 2-4 weeks, now 8
Anthony - 6 weeks, now 8-9
Ablett - 3 weeks, turns into?

hmm.. for me personally Ablett is gone...
If I had a playing mid i'd keep him... even if the rookie scored 40.... but seeing I have four 0's in the mids.. Robinson, Beams, Hartlett and Ablett...
and I don't want to trade out the later 3, Robinson isn't much of a cashy ... hopefully will come back..
I'm think either...
1) Leave him and get two 0's.. im not up against hard teams this week...
OR
2) Ablett > Collins or cash cow, then up my much needed back or mid
OR
3) Ablett > bartell/nds to replace as captain and then use the cash to upgrade else where.. franklin to a reall player maybe?

Been kicking myself not taking him which has been the difference between my current position of low 1900s and top 350!!! Now I can make a move up the ladder!

If I hadn't used so many trades already, I'd probably consider burning a trade to out Ablett and bring in Pav and Roo for my struggling forward line. But 12 trades 
remaining this early in the year doesn't give you much room to move...

$750k sitting on the bench when i have spuds like Walker on the field hurts.
The obvious answer is dont trade him out.
But will he really come back in 3 weeks?

contemplating cashing in a few cows this week, get some $$ in the bank, then next weel upgrade Rich who I have been starting on the ground to a gun and leave GAJ on the bench for however long need be (hopefully only 2-3)
My thoughts exactly.. 3 is fine but when it turns into 4 or 5 or 6 then there's a problem. Didn't this happen last year with someone from Geelong? Was it Chappy or maybe even Gaz..i have the worst memory
Problem is that the Cats can afford to rest him till he's 100% so could easily stretch longer. It could be 4 weeks till he's back and then another 2-3 until he's playing his normal gametime. Also it'll cost 75-150 points a game to keep him on the bench.

The problem is I lose like 150 pts since Our league is relatively close (most with ablett though) I may put ablett on the bench for a week and put hartlett in, change goddard to captian. and see from there.
