Great when he's on his game but out of 80% TOG he would spend close to 30% of it begging umpires for free kicks and another 10% taking cheap shots and whinging when he cops it back. Pretty easy player to dislike.

For a big body he doesn't like to get his hands dirty in tough, wet footy. Spends all the time skirting outside the packs.

Nothing to do with his form. Surely you can see that when you have Sydney supporters agreeing regarding the free kicks it has gotten pretty bad. It's an unappealing part of our game and he is one of the most regular offenders.

Cheap shots no. Had two incidents 3/4 years ago which has stuck with him.


Franklin, Goodes, Harvey, Selwood, SJ etc. are all guilty of it at times. Not a good sight but their ability makes them awesome to watch. We spend too much time bagging the gun players of the comp.

You make it sound like he goes after the umpire for over 10 seconds after each contest.

He is guilty of throwing his hands in the air, giving a petulant look and then moving on straight away. Not a good look but it's not like he is bullying the umpire and talking trash.

Needs to go back to the midfield though, he is easily frustrated in the forward line.

Brad Johnson was the worst. Amazing player and top bloke off the field, but he was infuriating to watch whinging at the umps every time anyone laid a finger on him.

Goodes isn't at that level.

Really annoys me and makes so many threads unreadable.

I'm just happy that I'm not the only one to notice, and you're right about those teams. There's a certain amount of disdain from North vs WB from what I've noticed too
