God this board has the memory of goldfish. ROC carried the SANFL team when we had heaps of experienced people injured early in the year, when the team was getting pumped, then when they all came back and the team started winning he was worn down and looked unspectacular. So what do BF Adel people judge him on, those last few games of course, what else.

He was fine. Never got to Patrick Wilson levels. Doesn't seem to have any AFL level weapons. Would make a good SANFL footballer, like a poor man's Tom Lewis.

We’ve overcommitted on Brown having him contracted to 2023.

He’s just a player, never developed a decent offensive side to his game.

He'd actually make a good defensive forward - smart by foot and certainly kicks goals.

i remember that, but did he just accept one and not drive for more? I'd still expect an announcement though.

As far as I recall the club never really publicised he'd triggered a third year, they treated it like he'd been contracted the whole time anyway and didn't announce any further extension.

I heard Smith say yesterday on AA Schoenberg, TT and Jones are already back running.

No chance they aren't in R1 next year outside of injury.

apparently McHenry hasnt stopped running since the last quarter of the season…

So does the inclusion of Dawson make Seedsman a potential trade candidate? Really we have Dawson, Sholl and Cook all shaping to play wing in 2022.

If we could somehow squeeze an early 2nd for Seeds, I'd probably take it

I’ve never thought of this but I wouldn’t actually mind seeing it tried, we’ve got plenty of options down back so who knows? Would also force McAdam to fix some of the more fundamental aspects of his game to get his spot back.

surely he's pushing for an extra year after the one he just had. It's not an automatic renewal, it's a right of renewal. I wonder if they're still negotiating and we're all just assum8ng that because he hit a trigger he's signed on fear the extra year.

Nope, Dawson plays left wing, Seed starts on the right.

I never understand having a right footer playing left wing and vice versa. Limits the angles and speed of your F50 entries.

Given Sholl copped more attention on the wing and now we have replacements, he might be better off at half back and we add another good kick back there.

Sholl should be fine after another preseason. He just ran out of steam.

We already have Jones, Smith & Milera in the backline, but would be good to have some flexibility to switch things up.

Hamill is a week by week thing, he's a concussion away from career over

Brown at the back end.

I still hold out hope for Milera being a mid.
Seeds might have 1-2 years left.

but that would just make that MSD outcome even more of a head scratcher..

we had a small forward deficiency all year.. nicks just a week before the MSD even said that if we took someone it would be a small forward… then come draft day we picked up yet another half back type.. and one that, whilst he looks a good prospect, is miles off taking a spot away from all the other half back options in the team..

are we really now gonna try him as a small forward?..

why the hell didnt we just pick that young WA lad, tyrone thorne, who is an absolute livewire with tons of xfactor and was good enough to make the WAFL team of the year..
