Smith isn't a bad defender for a running half back. Milera doesn't know what a defensive action looks like. Was his defending any worse than Brodie Smith?

NahYes by a long way
Yeah
Smith was a horrific defender in his earlier years, would've been a worse defender at 22/23 than Milera was.Yeah
A lot of half backs doThat's my recollection. Smith won All Australian without defending

The key questionAfter these injuries will Milera even be any good?
Struggle to see him taking back a HBF role. The key question
It's a long time out and he hadn't even banked consistent performances before being injured
Have you finally arrived at the point that Brodie isn't a midfielder yet?
We need a small forward who can apply pressure and hit the scoreboardStruggle to see him taking back a HBF role.
HFF?
I think more likely another 5 year deal that burns the club
He's played well in bursts at times when up there, I think he's a half forward personally. We need a small forward who can apply pressure and hit the scoreboard
In theory Milera is perfect though he hasn't shown much at AFL level when he's played there.
Even him performing averagely though is a major upgrade on Murphy and Rowe
I'm hoping Rory finds a new home up front somewhere. Can read the packs and hitouts as well as mark. Solid kick for goal too.We need a small forward who can apply pressure and hit the scoreboard

Given he has been out for so long , I can't recall what his marking was like.We need a small forward who can apply pressure and hit the scoreboard

Strong overhead.Given he has been out for so long , I can't recall what his marking was like.
His tackling and kicking were pretty good. I assume the evasiveness will be somewhat reduced. Hopefully not the speed either
Dont need to upgrade Keays or Butts do we ?? Can be on the RL for 4 years. So assuming Davis and O’Connor are gone.
Is this right?
31 senior list
5 cat a rookie list
2 cat b rookie list
In Dawson giving us 32 senior
Upgrade Butts and Keays
34 senior
3 cat A
2 cat b
Gives us 2 picks in draft and one in rookie draft.
Don’t have to. Just did it to free up some rookie spots.Dont need to upgrade Keays or Butts do we ?? Can be on the RL for 4 years.
Pretty sure a rookie upgrade still counts towards the threeHave to take 3 picks in the draft
