Maybe doing a Port and telling him to go and find a new club but then say he's under contract to get a better pick. Difference being we have front ended, so aren't desperate to trade him out.

Maybe Seeds extension is to front load over 2. Pay him most of 2023 in 2022, so we meet cap minimum and free up space in 2023. He looks like he has at least 2 years left in him, so not a big risk.

Regularly got around the 30 disposals in the VFL when he got on the field this year but even though the Pies had an ordinary last half of the season it's been a hard midfield to get a gig in and with Daicos coming in and another F/S Reef McInnes looking for opportunities not surprising I guess that Sier and Rantall were in a bit of trouble, mind you Sidebum and Pendlebury nearly done. I guess they're going with Patrick Lipinski as a permanent midfielder?

They've also got Finlay Macrae but like us they need to start prioritising giving the youngsters a run and perhaps using guys like Pendlebury back or forward

Don't forget McCrae who was drafted the same year from memory, and who was preferred in the back half of this season. With Lipinski and Daicos coming in it just pushed Rantall further down the pecking order I suppose.

He was getting good numbers in the VFL, does seem pretty stiff to be getting delisted.

No to Woodcock for mine. Can’t see what he brings different to Murphy/Rowe. Much prefer to draft that small forward

Then you need to go look at his Roosters Grand Final game he played in his draft year.

I’ll give you he’s better overhead than the small forwards we already have (bar McAdam maybe), but I can’t see him having a huge ceiling based off what he’s shown at league level so far

Need someone that can develop into a quite dangerous goalkicking small, rather than just your average small forward

I think we can afford to be clever and start organising some project players on our rookie list. Like a ruckman or kpf forward. The ones that won't grow into their bodies for 4 or 5 seasons.

That is true about Worrell, that guy needs more AFL game time next year
