I have never, respected the Crows, I have never accepted their worth as a Corporation, I have always despised their essence, their pretence as a football club...

I too must offer my congratlutaions... I watched the game with about 5 other Crows supporters and during the 3rd quarter I thought they were gone.

I was wanting Adelaide to win but they looked to be tiring and after recent trips to Perth and a muddy GABBA I thought the Dees would run all over them. At 3 quarter time my other Crows fans were rather down, but I tried telling them it wasn't over yet and they are still within 4 goals which is very gettable.

Rest is history and a now I am just hoping Port can somehow get up over Brissie.

Crows are jsut as likely to beat Brisbane as Port but a loss won't bring with it the unbearable reality of living in Adelaide when Port win a flag.

So go the Lions and go the Crows.

Sorry PA 1870 - whilst I appreciate your sentiments - I can't reciprocate.

Having said that - If Port win - it will be the greatest finals win in the histroy or the AFL other than the 97 and 98 Grand finals.

Nothing's wrong with black, I was just told to make sure I wear black if I went to Chapel Street, otherwise I would look out of place! Well, I looked okay in a black T but it didn't make me feel a part of the Street.....there wasn't much black around!

What is all this about? I hate the Cows and I wouldn't expect anything more from them than to hate me. It was just unfortunate that our move to get into the AFL came in 1990 or we'd have been in in 1993 as recommended by Mr Mascara-eyes Max Basheer and we'd have ended up with the pick of the crop and Andy McLeod. The only reason I would want the Cows to win this week is they're actually the lesser of two evils for one and also that it would mean this would be the first year scalpers may have to reduce their prices if there is a fully non-Victorian GF.

The Power won their final last week , so does that include Port Powers losses ?

My perspective is:

Tradition: is something that is formed over decades, perhaps as mentioned ,constantly losing Finals or winning them or Great Games between two clubs etc.

Young tradition: is grasping at straws to back a feeble attempt at argument or joke.
