Which means, Goodwin will take it from 07 till 09, and Van Berlo will take it from there onwards

I reckon Bass may have only 1 maybe 2 years left.

I'd put him down for at least 2, probably 3, so that would mean 2 as captain. He's in the same boat as Goodwin. Both had an outstanding 2006 but who knows how long their bodies will hold out.

Brett Kirk was on Sydney's rookie list. He has captained the Swans on several occasions.

I'm liking the option for Goodwin for one or two years, and then Van Berlo to take charge.

VB just oozes leadership qualities - he is the man for me.

That's one of the more stupid comments I have seen for a while. Next!!!!!!!!

I change my vote for Goodwin now. I think he will get it for a couple of years. Then maybe VB or Thompson.
