He may be a decent CEO if they so choose to go that way, but nothing will ever untaint his character after the last few years of activity within the AFL.

Funnily enough, normally people LEAVE North to go to the AFL to become reviled administrators - Aylett and Demetriou for example.

Nah, it is plain as day that Gillon knocked back the NRL offer because he's been guaranteed the job when SD departs. Which could well be sooner rather than later.

Perhaps even in time to get pre-selected for a safe/ish seat before the next Fed election?

Way too early into our rebuild to lose him already. If we lose him I'll be gutted - we only recently had a poll on this (who is most important to RFC), and Gale was mentioned by most. Will be a massive loss to the Tigers
