He's been trying to get back at me ever since he complained about someone (me) who was watching a live telecast of football, ruining his delayed telecast enjoyment. (Seriously, wtf? If you don't want spoilers don't read a ******* conversation of the live feed )
Before that day, it was really a mutual feeling of not giving a shit about each other.
Since that day he's gone out of his way, trying to get me banned from everywhere. THe amount of times he's tried to go over GG's head to Messenger or Chief is beyond belief. If he has a problem with me and doesn't want to deal with me, it'd be logical to **** off rather than destroy your own reputation just to get payback.

Too bad for him GG is seeing straight through his shit.

There's some truth to this. Chad pisses me off to no end going to Chief/Messenger, and PMing those monstrous "but but but" responses telling me Im not doing my job etc. Chad has to start showing a bit more BF American Football Board thick-skin, that we do allow bay-13-ish stuff. And that Im not gonna ban any regulars here because someone else doesnt like them etc. I dont protect Dirty Bird like im trying to mentor him. Merely want all you ****** with ad hominem problems to resolve it yourselves like men, to learn to self-moderate, blend in with the 99% of the rest of the board that just gets on and focuses on football and having fun, making net friendships etc. Dont want this board to devolve into the AFL main board where everyone is infracted and banned for sneezing. Dont want people to be MODERATED, scolded, talked to, to have people become sniveling reporting every 2nd post because it hurts ones sensitivities.

For the record, only reason I ever went to Chief was because I was under the impression that GG wasn't doing anything to keep you in line.

Since then, i've come to realise that he invests energy time and time again into trying to make you 'get it'.

This one page alone in this thread is proof that his energy is unfortunately continually wasted.

marcuz as original mod ran this ship a certain way, that I extol and seek to continue. Simply....

im not a moderator, just another regular poster like you all, we all self-moderate ourselves and others, we all just try to get along, we have our fights and trolls, they can be so funny, all those little tiffs that sometimes/often come up, but at heart we're all just getting along, get over our differences and FOCUS MAINLY on football talk. Continued ad hominem ends up becoming too much for everyone else. The board majority itself speaks out -- "PLEASE GUYS STOP IT ALREADY, GIVE IT A REST FOR X WEEKS FFS." And so those people stop derailing every ****ing thread. There's no wimpy/grudge-like reporting of trivial posts.

Look...in short....troll, argue, EVERY NOW AND THEN, once a month, but make it quick and sharp, dont drag it out all ****ing night and day from thread to thread. Just get that grrr over and done with quickly.

It's hilarious that you think that event has any relevance whatsoever. I didn't even remember it or care about it until you just brought it up. But considering that occured last season, and i've been sick of your shit for literally years, just shows how delusional you are.

Also, my "delayed telecast" was live NFL gamepass, and your "live telecast" was the TV stream. You knew people were watching the gamepass, including myself, and knew that the TV was about 30 seconds ahead, and spent the entire morning spoiling events like touchdowns and turnovers deliberately despite repeatedly being asked not to.

Bring on AE for those who actually appreciate it and value it as the best competition of it's kind in Australi, and appreciate all the work that all the people involved do, instead of just picking and choosing to try and score petty little internet points.

That's only a small consideration really Larkis. It's all about picking the ten teams and the strategy there, when to be conservative and when to go for it.

Maybe take the lines from lunch time each Wednesday or something , its going to be hard as people will probably just lean towards whatever way the line moves. Preseason will be good to trial some things though.

When the schedule was released, some betting agencies put up games late into the season up straight away. It'd be illogical using those. Lines for week 1 for the Patriots would've been a tad larger than now.

tomatosauceling had the best idea. Go with the Wednesday lines. Yes, it only gives 1 days prep for TNF. But it's late enough that a lot of variables will be known, but not too late that it disadvantages some who might contemplate tipping on the TNF game.

This way, it's a bit easier for admin, more bulk/generic.

The intention is to have opening lines from Wednesday from Australia's own Centrebet.com.au as the Temptation comp line. If something occurs like a player missing/ the adjusted line will be the one we go with. I'll advertise the lines via AE13clubhouse.com anyway plus I'm sure JD can either re-configure the lines on the options or give access to GG or myself to access the AE13 tipping site for late movements.

Nobody is going to be working with different spreads. It's only a rare occurrence lines shift. The full number spreads like 4 will be pulled back to 3.5 if that's the case for the sake of determining a result.

To avoid any controversy, those in Temptation would be best to give me their mobile contact # so they can be immediately alerted if we are forced to make a 'line change' at the eleventh hour. It's a rare occurrence anyway.

For those games without lines will have go 'without the lines option' I'm afraid. No point inventing a number when it's not official. I noticed that happens once-twice a month when there is a 'game time decision' on a particular player. But if you think of Fantasy Football, you're in a more dicey situation then. Like anything else, consider another of your TOPlist teams /or another option otherwise just leave that 'no line game' out.
