Wonder if you'll stick to that, Chris25, considering I have you pencilled in to open up against @belikemike who you managed to hold off by a solitary point (97-96) in the first round of the Play-Offs. Browns have an impressive record against the 'Fins which bodes well but don't underestimate the 'Fins who outscored opponents by 23 points overall in the third quarter whereas the Browns didn't claim any winning quarters overall. Just sayin'.

One of my 'systems' is that there should be anything from 9 to 11 home teams selected, depending on the amount of heavy favorites. You'll get the odd week (literally 1 or 2) all year when the majority of away teams win. And the odd week (literally 1 or 2) when it's 8-8.

That's a system I've used, and it's seldom out.....the problem is --- picking the right home teams!!

There's ALWAYS an upset or two Home team winning.

A few of the games are absolute shits though for week 1 regardless. ATL @ NO? Who the hell knows, that game is always huge. GB @ SF? O lawdy. PHI @ WAS? Chip Kelly unveils the new Eagles...

Currently sitting 9th on the AE13 ladder, probably the highest i will be all season even before a ball is thrown in anger

Also noticed that when i scroll around the AE13 website having a look at the features that is skips back to AE12.

Holy shit. All these years looking at the schedule each week and mentally choosing is far easier than actually trying to tip winners. This will be a very interesting comp for me.

I think it's fair to assume home teams will do well week 1 due to good crowds.

That's not to say some away teams don't look like they will walk away with an easy win.

There are some really strong teams that will not be looking to go 0-1 no matter what team they've been matched up against.

This season I'm going 16 on whoever is playing the Jets.

They're about to implode and we're not even in the regular season. I'll be very surprised if their O isn't ranked 32nd in scoring.
