Pats are still 16 because that's where they were last week.

I thought Thursday night was just for week 1. Looks like it's every week hey?

Without doing the whole history lesson, TNF is every week. Each team plays one TNF game a year at least. On top of this there are three games for Thanksgiving Day as well (also on a Thursday). This allows each team to play one prime time game a year. TNF is done through NFL Network which is more concerned about increasing exposure to the game and individual teams then it is for increasing revenue where NBC and ESPN will expect popular games for the large price they paid to get football rights.

The NFL does not compete with High School Football (on Friday nights) or college football (Saturdays) hence for the football throughout the year. Main reason is to build up the grassroots but it also avoids the awkward situation of competing with itself. By the time the playoffs come around college football has ended allowing the NFL to do games on Saturday and Sunday.

Too many playmakers out for Pats... I give Jets every chance. Jets need to play more screens so it opens up the WR's who seem to be double teamed. Can't afford to throw too often into double coverage. Jets not out of this yet despite trailing by 10 at the HT. Only 3 points in it now.

Went low on them because I wasn't confident NE would win/biased Jets fan. Still get some points, but feel justified in my positioning. Would've been nice to get the jump on most of the league though.
