I'll never forget the day I had a 50/50 chance of getting in the High Roller Sweepstakes and blew it :(
I went the Cowboys hoping both you and NDG would go Bears.

It was a long shot but all I had left to play for.

ED SABOL CONFERENCE

SVEN 112 lost to SODAPOP 117

The former CR champs were given a stunning uppercut to start off the week with the Jags jabbing the toothless Texans which really wasn't too much damage as their CR differential was just a measily one point. After the early games, Sodapop lead marginally by four points (76-72) despite claiming one less winner. The arm wrestle divisional match up at Candlestick between the Seahawks & Niners was more about shutting the gate on Sven, had the Seahawks prevailed, but it was the Niners who kept their winning streak of 16 home games against Division rivals going thanx to a late FG by ex-Browns kicker Phil Dawson, to keep Sven in touch (112-111) as SNF loomed with a packed dibribulator, this was indeed CRUNCHTIME with Sven deciding to ride on the Panthers' winning streak momentum, locking in his do or die 6CR…. meanwhile… Sodapop confessed to switching only moments before kick-off to the Saints anticipating Sven was going to take the Saints on the rebound after their embarrassing loss on the west coast last week. Amiss all the double guessing, SodaPop hadn't checked Sven's SNF selection, thinking it was a slam dunk selection for him so whilst following the game Sodapop was cussing each time Brees was making plays and was convinced he was a DEADMAN WALKING (debribulator slung away in disgust!!) as the smokin' hot Saints routed the Panthers 31-13… then got an astonishing Gomer Pyle esqe 'Surprise Surprise Surprise' …to find that #1 seed, Sven, had well n' truly bungled his opportunity. Perhaps the Deevs Curse still lingers??

Woody Line: Sodapop -1.5pts

BLACKY 112 defeated SMITHS 108

The swollen eye given to Blacky by the Jags left hook on TNF was nothing new to the cunning rookie campaigner knowing that double digit flops in early games were becoming just a hurdle rather than a serious setback. The TEN point differential jumpstart for Smiths wasn't capitialized upon with Smiths only managing a six point lead (65-59 after early games) even though both had three DD CR's up their sleeves to come. The divisional dogfight @ Candlestick Park was a four point game that could of helped Smiths moreso as the upcoming prime time night games had Blacky with a seven point advantage in hand but the Niners win only made the equation even more intriging as Smiths took a ten point lead (103-93) heading into SNF that spelled >> D.O.O.M. << for Blacky, if the Black Cats prevailed, however the ball was always going to be in (Margaret):D Smith's court for MNF as CRUNCHTIME approached after the Saints allowed Blacky to go 6 from 6 for 87% of his remaining CR selection points. With Smiths holding onto a 108-105 lead, both having a 7CR in the bank for MNF… Smiths decided to put his neck on the line for the 7-4 Cowboys in DECEMBER  (Romo 12-20) against the 6-5 Bears, returning back to Soldier Field where they're 4-2 this season, after dropping two recent road games. Meanwhile, Blacky, already slumped on the DZE canvas bleeding profusely, had one swing left in him for MNF & the ND with no real expectation an Eagles fan like Smiths to even contemplate picking the hated rival Cowboys, let alone trying to bluff his way in the mind games dept for some cheeky reverse psychology that… in some baffling way, BACKFIRED BIG TIME!! Blacky backed da Bears, bounced off the ropes to land a hellraising haymaker with McCown behind centre to lead the way to an emphatic 45-28 win as the howler Cowboys selection by smiths was one, that even the circling birdies would be gobsmacked about!! Ouch!!

Woody Line: Blacky -2.5pts

QUIN STICK 108 defeated LUKOZADE 101

Despite being on the ropes early (trailing 57-36), quin_stick , seem to have sold LUKOZADE the whole 'rope a dope' routine completely as the snow flowed thick n' fast in Philly town as the Lions led 8-0 at the main break (Lukozade had Det 8CR) meaning a further 21 point differential was looking 'oh so' NASTY for the Q-Stick. However, that's when everything snowballed in the opposite direction in the most peculair way with Quin Stick rallying to go 7 for 7 on 87% of his remaining CR point selections which included the critical 12CR on the Niners for a 14 point turnaround putting Q-Stick ahead 98-95, in what was suddenly GAME ON!! The Brees led Saints blasted the Black Cats to give Q-Stick an additional five point extension making it even money on MNF if Lukozade could trigger his 11CR for the opposing team after Q-Stick pushed the envelope bearing a stamp of approval for Chiggy with just enough innuendo to tempt Lukozade to be sold on another 'dope a rope' routine that remarkably worked a treat considering Q-Stick had reaped CR points with the Cowboys the previous weeks and stayed clear of the Bears during the lead up weeks… whether Lukozade did his homework or not, he knows now that Quin Stick can't win any uglier than this!!!

Woody Line: Lukozade -3.5pts

BEEZ 127 humbled DIRTY BIRD 90

A buoyant start by Dirty Bird on TNF wasn't enough as beez continued his piping hot form from last week, where he smashed the reigning LCS champ, Tomatosauceling, by a new ND play-off record winning margin of 42 points to repeat the dose in emphatic fashion, humbling the 2010 ND champ, Dirty Bird by 37 points, a week after Dirty Bird had registered the highest CR score of the season. The sixteen point margin (75-59) separting them after the early games wasn't necessarily safe enough for Beez as Dirty Bird needed to rely on the two-time SB MVP, Eli Manning, to rescue him with the first of two critical upcoming 17 point games on the line to make or break Dirty Bird's unbeaten ND Play-Off record.. with the Chargers only notching up one win in their last five, while the G-Men had only dropped one in their last six, optimism was good. However, Beez and the Chargers were hellbent on making a statement. By HT, Bolts led 24-0, the sting was numbing (SD punished NYG 37-14), for Dirty Bird who knew Beez wasn't gonna let up and that continued with in the NFCW Divisional dogfight as Frank Gore's rumbling 51 yard last quarter gallop that allowed the Niners to drain the clock on their final drive to snatch back the lead with half a minute remaining compounding Dirty Bird's last hurrah (13CR for the Seahawks) which was good as over by then as Beez injected more pain by putting Dirty Bird out of misery in what will instigate a new found bitter rivalry for 2014.

Woody Line: Dirty Bird -5.5pts

WEEB EWBANK CONFERENCE

CROWMAN23 120 smothered OSMODIAR 91
An prime indication that dropped catches lose matches, even from the most reliable hands in the business with the Falcons' TE Tony Gonzalez who dropped an absolute soda on fourth down (would of put the Falcons within close FG range to stitch up the game at the two minute warning) @ Lambeau to virtually burn Osmodiar of big chance to level up the scores after the early games with an additional double digit CR up his sleeve in the remaining games to set up a possible grandstand finish. The equation was a matter of perfection for Osmodiar as he trailed 113-91 with 27 points in hand against @Crowman23 's loose change of eight points. The ten point differential on the NFCW Divisional dogfight would have massive ramifications as it basically was NOW or NEVER for Osmodiar's ND aspirations with Seahawks needing a big play in the last 26 seconds to get within FG range to hopefully pull off a stunning finish but last weeks hero, Russell Wilson, couldn't repeat as he was intercepted at the SF20. Game over.

ARKIE 124 /14 squeezed out STATSMAN74 124/13

Where does one begin in describing the drama that unfolded on the most dramatic single day of touchdown scoring (and non-TD scoring) of 90 to set a new NFL record making this ND contest one of the most storied shoot-outs in ND history??!! An improbable last ditch special teams play as the last seconds of the game ticked down that required multiple laterals by the Steelers before a streaking Antonio Brown broke to the sideline, seemingly clear, no flags on the play, crossing the endzone goaline unchallenged, Arkie needing the score with a two point CR advantage over Statsman74 BUT the call was out of bounds at the 13 rather than a game tying TD at the death. statsman74 can be thankful also that the NFL's all-time leading TE, Tony Gonzalez, dropped a highly likely game clinching catch to save him a nine point differential but the drama of this contest was more about Statsman74 trying to keep up with the winners as both were going toe to toe for reeling off winners at will with the likely probability of tie breakers emerging as one point seperated them before MNF. Neither flinched on selecting the Cowboys who are well renown for December debacles as da Bears mauled them, 45-28, with even their back up QB, Josh McCown, calling the shots. It's a tough loss to take for Statsman74:( , scoring an impressive season high 124 and notching up 13 winners on a wild week of shoot-outs which required an extra special effort to defy that, for which arkie was good enough to answer the call with his own season high, bettering his season high from last week of 114. Epic performance guys. :thumbsu:

Woody Line: Statsman74 -1.5

GALACTIC 109 lost to JEFFDUNNE 125

Last week Galactic climbed out of an hole, overcame adversity to stun his nemesis Tannehill17 with an inspirational come from behind win (106-102), only this time JeffDunne was paying attention. Galactic is 2-0 h2h which includes their Week 6 match up that ended up JD stinking it up with the lowest score of the week (64) in a fifteen point loss. Things were going to be different this time as JeffDunne had dug himself out of his own hole since, where he was stuck down 55th deep on the CR standings to plow his way back up to into TOP TEN contention. A sturdy start on TNF with the Jags giving JD a 11 point differential jumpstart as Galactic was back in the same hole hoping for another wholehearted effort like last week but JD bought the pressure early with five of the six strikes on double digit CR while Galactic answered the challenge by notching up four of five double digit strikes himself. JD holding onto his early jumpstart with an 84-72 lead after the early games. Galactic needed to claw back that differential and SNF was the ideal opportunity with the Black Cats on a roll taking on JD's belovered Saints in New Orleans but it was the results of two late games that snuffed out Galactic's last hope of a miraculous come back chance if anything with Philip Rivers torching the G-Men and the Niners suffocating the Seahawks with the last drive and last turnover of the game.

PRAWNOGRAPHER 107 lost to TCOL 116

The final score doesn't really decipher how dangerously close this result came down to a MNF ND tie breaker as Prawnographer would feel somewhat desperately unlucky as he outscored TCol on more winners overall (13-11) . Nevermind the mere half inch of Antonio Brown's left foot as he stepped on the sideline to negate the big touchdown play at the death in the Steelers/ Miami game, which cost prawnographer an additional seven point claim, but the stone cold reality is that TCol dodged a serious bullet here with his risky Cowboys 4CR pick to try seal the contest as Prawnographer, perhaps more willing to take on TCol h2h, for a differential selection (that flopped anyway) but had he considered DZE survival also, it may have been a completely different story.

Woody Line: TCol -8.5

5/8 correct. 62.55 strike rate :thumbsu:

I think my score this week is the lowest ever for anyone that actually entered tips for every game...
More respect needs to be shown to GG in podcast then. I am coerced to make outlandish tips, and I still get more of them right than you guys picking favorites....yet all I hear in podcast is "summon my inner GG bahaha"

But if you check my posts for this week against my early season picking you will see I was summoning my inner GG in an effort to win the high roller - lots of good that did me, obviously I don't have the magic voodoo to summon or forsee the outrageously unexpected results... :p

Keep working on the moosic each week and you shall gets respect. Mr Karaoke-dokey...

I don't just make outlandish predictions...i literally sit there and let feelings come to me. If i force it, using analysis/thinking, i have no confidence in it, it's 'me' forcing it. But you and everyone would be surprised how many massive predictions i've gotten 100% right purely because i LISTENED, opened myself up to the 'cosmos'. It's hard to explain, will sound kooky, but sometimes it happens, something will tell me "this will be the exact score", "so and so will be the leading rusher/scorer", etc, for a variety of sports. In short, it COMES TO ME, rather than me trying to fish for it. I believe every human has that ability, if they can learn to harness it. I can't get into HOW to harness it, seriously an old African Voodoo witch taught me some techniques when I was little.

GG told me to trust my gut and totally derailed my season.

Should have just said "tip all the favourites like everybody else" :(
Blame your gut, don't blame the method. Your gut obviously needs fine-tuning.

Well that's embarrassing for me.......Thanks

Lost my post from earlier today.

Annoyed I lost on a tiebreaker, especially after scoring so well this week. Was sure Arkie would have gone Dallas.

I'm hitting good form at the right time!

There's no worse loser than Dirty Bird

It's all well and good when he's winning, he allows himself to carry on like the Queen of Sheba, talking up how great he is. But as soon as he loses, it's boo-hoo the whole world is against me, they are so unfair/unkind.

And instead of just posting a congrats tagging beez, he has to PM woodson with a sook.
Sorry, I guess in the future I'll stop enjoying my holiday just to be on BigFooty.
I was out and about using free wifi on my phone.
BigFooty (w/o tapatalk) is pathetic on the phone, so I didn't bother. I got in contact with tones via Facebook after I saw my result (AE is good on the mobile. Good work JeffDunne)

But I guess in the future, I can walk back to my hotel, grab my laptop, then go back to a free wifi spot just to appease you :thumbsu::rolleyes:

Anyway, dinner in Paris. I'm off.
