3XKO UPDATE - WEEK 2



How did the Raiders lose that one ?......the 8 people named in the image above who had a life resting on the Broncos breathed a huge sigh of relief in a season which has already seen its fair share of lives lost in just the first 2 weeks.

If it wasn't for those Redskins we would have had a pretty decent week in regard to people surviving with as many lives intact as they started the round. 6 of the 10 lives lost were the fault of the skins and their ordinary effort at home.

All people now have at least 1 strike.

Patriots = 1 X
Steelers = 1 X
Eagles = 2 X
Redskins = 6 X

Eliminated = 2
1 Strike = 33
2 Strikes = 29
0 Strikes = Nil

HOT STREAK UPDATE

Starting Week 2 a few people had a nibble at the Bengals-Ravens TNF game, with only 5 correctly backing the Bengals. Among that quintet was pedge7 who used that to take the outright Hot Streak lead.
He didn't stop there, nailing 5 more correct teams to take his competition leading tally to 10.
His week 1 co-leader BornAgainIdiot didn't make a selection until the Saints-Browns affair, where some shaky kicking helped him move to 5. His next selection of the up-and-down-skins cost him his streak and he had to start over.

Some of the better streaks of the week belonged to the aforementioned pedge7 and fuey (who took his total from 1 to 7, with his 6 correct selections) which gives him the 2nd best active streak.
There were a gaggle of streaks of 4 this week, among them was camsmith who moved to 6.
simonoz TheGreatBarryB and billiever added small gains to move their total to 5 and on to the leaderboard.

The Hot Streak favourite this week was the Rams with all but 10 adding them to their streak, while the three match monster of Philly-Houston-Washington brought a lot of red to the board.

The CR Leaderboard posse consensus led by Chairman GG.exe have been very tight with 13 total CR points spared.

It's a 6-2 count for the Browns with GG's laying the big 4CR brick on the Brownies. American Crow pulling a shifty with 10CR on his home team but dropping a dime on the J-E-T-S in the Hot Streak jukebox (baby!!)

the Jets Bandwagon emptied fast after the fins game.

They hadn't been playing too poorly, jusy obviously couldn't finish games. Jets are still one of the least talented teams in the league.

Browns at home was a no-brainer.
