Imo, he does not have the natural instinct to be a defender. As my original post said I have watched him closely in AFL games to observe this

It's either a mobile ruckman who can utilise his good skills or nothing.

Why they are not putting Frampton into ruck astounds me. The way he finds the ball and disposes of it would make him an ideal ruck option

The one problem with commonsense, is that it's not very common.

Good to see Glenelg being supportive. Mature move on their behalf.

All class by @glenelgfc but I do agree with the CEO, the mid-season draft should be scrapped and loan system employed so the state league clubs are paid accordingly for their disruption. Just apply the same system as English football

All class by @glenelgfc but I do agree with the CEO, the mid-season draft should be scrapped and loan system employed so the state league clubs are paid accordingly for their disruption. Just apply the same system as English football

or th3 system that was in place b4 we had SANFL sides. They train with us during the week and if they're not playing AFL, they go back to their SANFL club. But it only works for players nabbed by us and Port, so probably pointless and half arsed.

We saw using Murray in the ruck he gave us another midfielder option through the middle.

Imo, Frampton could also provide this role but even more effectively as he has better skills & is more suited as a ruckman.

We should at least try it.

Because his actual ruck work is terrible.

Even if his hitouts were down, he would be handy as an extra around stoppages. See Mark Blicavs.

I've also considered Frampton on a wing. Enough space to use his skills without the pressure of a direct opponent.

I disagree. There is definitely a place for Crouch at AFL, however he's the type who needs to fall into the right team seeing how specialised he is.

That's not Adelaide anymore, seeing Laird is a rich mans Crouch.
