I'm standing by my call,. Yes he got alot of hit-outs,. but he averaged 9.7 touches a game, 1.6 marks (which is worrying for such a big guy) and kicked 2 goals all season.. Not denying he is serviceable, but I just think you went wayyyy early on him,.
but in terms of Ruckman, I would have much preferred any of Nic Nat, Lobb, Big Boy McEvoy, Witts or Stef Martin (all which have been taken since), but hey - that's just my preference - I stand to be corrected in 2018!

All you just did is the exact same as those who complained about Crouchs kicking. Everything you listed can be easily fixed. If im wrong im wrong but the potential is there

In just 17 games managed 10th spot in total hithouts and was 3rd overall in average hitouts per game. Maybe, just maybe if people start looking at stats they would realise he isnt as left field. He didnt do enough around the ground last year but another solid preseason and he certainly should.

He spent the previous year in the VFL, because XXX was preferred as first ruck. Which absolutely could happen again.

Stats like hitouts don't win this game. The players either need to be widely seen as good now (for a voting win) or need to win BnFs etc. (for a points win)
