Paul Hamilton was on 5AA Sportsnet today and came up with some usual cliches but we at least got some insight.

* John Meesen is the most improved since last season and is a bit more cocky nowdays :D. Apparently he has bulked up a bit as well.
* Reilly got his PB the other day and is training well.
* From the new draftees, Bernie Vince is the one that has settled in the best.
* Richard Douglas is a smooth mover especially around stoppages.
* Huddo's knee coming along well
* We are concentrating on convesion rate of our enteries inside 50.

2 and a half hours for big Eevan on the bike. Looks like they are trying to get his aerobic capacity up more.
Glad to hear the big Mees has stepped up and wants his No. 1 in waiting back.
Only goes well for next year. Both should have a couple of games next year.

I had to go out too but I set recording going as I had a sneaky suspicion that someone from Crows might be on considering the draft is tommorrow.

what is the coverage on tomorrows drafts like?

does the afl website have a live video feed, or just audio???

I don't think they have the live coverage.

I heard somewhere that the draft will be done via a conference call rather than being there in person.

I thought I read somewhere that it was being done elecrtonically, and that all the clubs had to do was type the name of their selection, which would be displayed on all club's screens.

Here it is - found it.

Draft goes online

The six non-Victorian clubs will be saved the cost of having to fly to Melbourne to take part in next week's AFL pre-season and rookie drafts with all 16 clubs being able to make their selections from the comforts of their home base.

AFL football operations manager Adrian Anderson said the twin drafts - to be held next Tuesday - would be electronic drafts as happens with the professional sports leagues in the United States.

"All 16 clubs will be linked using Microsoft Live Meeting technology, enabling them to lodge their selections without leaving their home state or club base," Anderson said.

Anderson said the system was better suited to the much smaller pre-season draft - where usually only a handful of players are selected - than the much bigger national draft in November.

"The AFL is not considering any change to the NAB AFL National Draft but an electronic draft for the pre-season and rookie draft enables our clubs to make significant time and cost savings," he said.

Only around half the 16 clubs will take place in the pre-season draft and while most clubs are expected to select rookies, some will only take one or two due to financial constraints.

It's the only place I can think of that will be covering it.

Not unless SEN radio is covering it and someone posts it on here.

I highly doubt it

They might telecast live the PSD as a commercial break between programing commitments:p
